Best Chances for Additional Fastpasses

We'll be heading to DW July 12-19 and are staying at Coronado Springs. It's me, dh, dd (12) & ds (9). This will be our first time going with the option to book additional fastpasses after the first 3. I need a realistic idea of what options we may have for additional fastpasses in each park given that we'll be visiting at a busy time of year.

Our touring strategy is to always do AM EMH (we are early risers). Then depending on the park, we'll reserve fastpasses for either right after lunch or reserve them for the evening either in the same park or a different park. I know Magic Kingdom is our best bet to get additional fastpasses, so I will plan to have the 3 fastpasses done in the early/mid-afternoon.

My main concern is with EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. I'd love feedback for these 3 parks and the likelihood of getting additional fastpasses. If so, what time do you recommend getting our 3 fastpasses done in those parks?

We do have park hoppers and definitely are okay using them. Any input is appreciated!

Thanks, I did read that part of the thread, but I was just hoping to get some real world experience from people who have visited at busy times.

We got several Star Tours and hit on a ToT. After our late 7DMT we got Splash, Buzz several times, and I saw some FL rides too. These were after 9, with park closing at 11, EMH til 1a. I actually walked into Dumbo at 9:30, which I was surprised to see.

People are always giving up there FP if they see something else or are leaving earlier. We gave up 2 of our 3 FP sets at AK because it was so hot and our last day. We actually got an earlier flight because of that!

First week of March.....DD and I were able to continue adding FP's mid-to-late afternoon by frequently checking the app on the phone. They popped up a lot!

New Year's Eve week. Hollywood studios we scanned for our last fastpass at 12:45. Was able to get toy story mania for 1:15 lol same thing in February with my friend when we were there and then was able to get additional tower of terror after and star tours. We finished using fastpasses at 1 at Epcot and were able to get a soarin for 6:00. Just make sure you keep playing around with times in the app. Usually a time will pop up that wasn't there originally.

Also animal kingdom we finished at 12:30 and were able to get another Everest for 1pm then a dinosaur and another safari etc and that was New Years and February as well

Bro, don't take that to heart. Your FP thread is awesome I use it every year now. In fact, Monday (4/3) is my 60 day mark so I have your tips/tricks printed out for reference this weekend as I finalize my FP plan of attack And I feel your tips for getting additional FP are pretty good "real world" advice.
