I've often read about how great the candy/chocolate is in the United Kingdom shop in Epcot. I've been in there before and there were so many to choose i didnt know what to get. What's everyones opinion on whats the best of the best. And if you could just describe what it is. Pictures would be great too! Thanks!

We love Clubs (they come in orange and other flavours) - they are a biscuits and chocolate bar. Also, Flakes are excellent - flakey bars of chocolate. Love, love, love Galaxy bars - the chocolate is so creamy, just divine. Dairy Milk and Smarties (candy covered discs of chocolate) are also really good. DH loves Blue Ribands - its a smaller wafer type chocolate bar. British chocolate is terrific, so that's what I would go for although wine gums and for kids, the JellyBellys are tasty (ok for adults too!) DH's aunties and cousins bring what seems like suitcases full of this stuff when they come to visit from Scotland. We have some of the same brands in Canada, however the British chocolate is just better! :lovestruc

I'm totally the other way round, whenever I'm in America I love buying Hersheys and all that kind of thing. I guess it's just the novelty factor. Whereas I'm not wild about the chocolate here probably because I can just get it all the time.

Really though buy anything Cadburys. Cadburys chocolate is absolutely lovely, it beats Nestle hands down. I've been on the Cadburys factory tour like 4 times now, so much free chocolate and the smell of the place. <3 Dairy Milk is dreamy, it just melts in your mouth, so nice, definitely try one. In Australia you can get a Cadburys bar called Top Deck - it's dark, milk and white chocolate layered. That's the best bar in the world! Don't think it's available at Disney though.

Hmmmm yeah Cadbury anything (I've been on the tour too, those melted pots of chocolate are heaven on earth)

Some Nestle stuff is alright as well, especially Milkybar buttons and Aero oh and Munchies (I think they're nestle not sure)

Rowntree stuff is also tasty. But TBH most British chocolate is really good, I don't often find a bar I don't like, so whatever you choose it should taste good.

I love going there! I buy a little of this a little of that......

I agree with Cadbury being very good. Can't wait!

I was wondering if the Cadbury you can buy in the UK shop tastes different than the Cadbury chocolate that is available in most US grocery stores or are they the same? Are there any teas that are available there that cannot generally be found in US stores? I like a nice strong tea that doesn't have any flavorings added. Thanks if you can help!:)

You've just given me the biggest smile EVER! Guess what I'm sitting here munching on right now, while I see what's new on the DIS????? A nice big block of Top Deck!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, Top Deck is actually Milk Chocolate with a layer of Dream (White) chocolate on top. Triple Deck is the one with Dark, Milk & Dream chocolate - you can't always buy it though as it only comes out every so often.

Now, back to my Chocolate...

Cadburys dairy milk is yummy, it's so creamy! Although I love stocking up on American goodies when there, I love Hershey bars, babyruth and butter fingers :) Maybe we should set up a chocolate exchange :rotfl2:

Tea's that taste like 'normal' tea are things like English Breakfast and Assam - the Indian teas rather than Chinese teas. Try Assam, it's quite a strong tasting one. I don't know what brand of teas they sell at Epcot, but Twinings is a good brand.

UK cadbury is way different tasting than US cadbury.
I like both. But the UK is just so creamy and good, and remember, you dont have to share, it is one of those things you just dont share, it a bar and just enjoy......:surfweb:

Does anyone know if these are included in the DDP as snacks? We LOOOOVE Aero (especially the peppermint) and Flake!

Crunchie is my fave, it is honeycomb covered in milk chocolate...soooo yummy!

i am not a big chocolate eater, but can't resist the cadburys cream egg, the only thing is there not on sale all year. how do you eat yours

I'm a sucker for the: Mint Aero, Cadbury Dairymilk & Turkish Delight. You can find all three of these at the World Market stores too, if you live near one. :thumbsup2

I just had my first ever Aero this morning. I'm looking at the empty wrapper on my desk as I type this. (My co-worker is from Canada, and her parents brought back a huge stash of candy and food from their recent trip.) I'm in love. Now I need to try the mint.

I can see I am going to be buying chocolate from different countiries this trip. Top Deck sounds great I love good quality chocolate.
