Best camera for WDW

Yeah, my greatest beef with a DSLR and a single strap is how it bounces off your chest as you're hustling from place to place. I would put it away, but I want to be able to capture spur of the moment photos!
Even a single shoulder strap is a much better option than the traditional neck strap. I use a Black Rapid strap and hold the camera down at my side or behind my back as I move around the parks.

I carry a micro 4:3 with a wrist strap, small and light but excellent image quality.

Still on the fence about the camera... With more opening up now and masks a thing of the past in the parks, the number of photographs I would likely take just went up. Now I hope Disney brings back character meet and greets by Aug.

They should be....honestly, if they aren't practically back to normal by then or soon after then I dont know what theyre doing LOL. So pick a good camera!

My iPhone is still the best for pictures. I do have a Canon G7X Mark 2 and a gopro for videos.
I agree it is the most convenient and versatile but it depends on what kinda pictures you want to get. Ones for faccebook, insta, etc. then it is great, or even ones for a small picture frame. But if you want larger pics or great night time shots, id say it is lacking.

We (me, wife & girls ages 10/12) are heading back to WDW this August and I am thinking about bringing a good compact camera to go along with my iPhone 12 Pro. ...
Suggestions?

The Canon EOS M system has been great to me. Just bought a Eos M50 MarkII and have been happy with it. Fits very compact but can handle most anything a Canon crop body could handle.
