Best Cabana on Castaway Cay?

Thank you! The bikes are a great idea! Do you know if each person gets one and when do you pick them up? We are thinking #25 for more privacy. Is it the cabana that is orange and sits higher than the others?

Privacy is a relative term. All 4 cabanas on Serenity are near each other, with the adult beach directly in front of them. There is no private beach like there is on the family beach. You will hear motorized vehicles and bicyclists passing behind the cabanas all day long.

I notice this is an old thread, but we have an option of getting cabana #24 or #25. If you had that option, which would you choose? How far away is the Serenity bay option for food? Thank you in advance
24 & 25 are two furthest away from the food location at Serenity Bay. Not much difference between them

Yes, the bike are one person, cabana 25 is the very last one. We were in it in May of this year. People going to cabana 24 will walk by in front of yours thats where the path leads for 24 & 25. Its a slice of heaven!!!!
Thank you! I was wondering how you get the bike rentals? Do you request them in advance?

I'm curious to know about this too. The golf cart part. I have a Serenity Bay cabana booked and my step-dad is concierge and if there was any chance that he could catch a golf cart from the ship to the cabana, that would really help him.
If you are concierge, just ask them for a golf cart directly from the ship to the Cabana and they will get one for you. They call it an "island taxi" I usually tip the driver. We have done this every time we cruise concierge

There is no cart from the ship to the cabanas or the cabana check in. We get a cabana when traveling with our elderly, mobility challenged parents. The concierge host in charge of the cabanas called before Castaway Cay day to see if there was anything he could help with for the cabanas. I asked if it were possible to have my parents transported by cart (we would walk/take the tram). You would've thought I asked him to gold plate the entire ship. With two wheelchairs, the walk to the tram, the wait to get on the tram (had to wait for 4 trams since the crowd was large so no room for the wheelchairs beside the handicapped row which were in use by others in line before us) and the wait for a golf cart to then take us to the cabana, it was 75 minutes from leaving the ship to arriving at the cabana. If I hear that others have received this service, I'm going to be REALLY mad!

If you want to be close to food/bathroom/Pelican Plunge go with the lower numbers. We are usually in 2 or 3 so it isn't a long trip to Cookie Too or the restrooms but the trade off is that it is closer to the line where the Public area and concierge only area of the beach meet so we have had a number of people move into the "less crowded" concierge area.
Sorry to hear about your experience, but we just cruised in October, and my sister has some mobility issues, and they got her a golf cart directly from the ship to the cabana. She had to wait at the ship for a bit, but they were able to arrange it. I took the tram with my other sister. They don't advertise it in concierge, but they certainly do it. There were at least 3 groups waiting for the golf carts when i left the concierge lounge. Who was the concierge host?

We invited friends to share a cabana with us last March. One of them had a broken foot and was using crutches. We saw him getting transported to the cabana check in while we were walking there. Apparently, a CM noticed the foot and the cabana bracelet while he was in line to get off the ship and arranged transport on the fly for him and his family.

I hate to give away our preference of cabanas and why but we love #8 and #9. We always request one of those specifically at the 125 day mark. The cabanas are slightly slanted back toward the dock. Not sure if any others afford this view but the ship is framed very nicely. Also the palm tree on those two seems to offer a little more shade than others. But don't spread our secret around.

Same here #9. But it is a secret we don't talk about. Not many mention it. And we like it that way.pirate::rotfl2:

Just had #10 last week. Thought it was a great location, quick walk to restrooms or food. Felt very private. However it wasn't terribly shady on the deck or hammock. Not a deal breaker. Ended up asking another family we met through fish extender group to share it. Good call. We were able to do some activities and feel like we got good use out of the cabana as well.

We've had the Grand Cabana (21) before and have it again on the upcoming trip. Sure it's on the far end but we loved not having people on one side of us and a huge chunk of beach just to ourselves. The walk to food/drinks/bathroom isn't really that far. Nearest bathroom for us was near #16.
