Best Buy Gift Card Problem

I had $45 in Best Buy gift cards ($25 I got when my son got his Wii U for his birthday and $20 for trading in his Wii).

I also had $80 in shopkick points which I traded in for $70 in best buy gift cards (2 $25s and 2 $10s).

My son wanted to pre-order Disney Infinity Marvel and the Spider Man set. My kids don't get a lot of extras so I was excited to do this for him.

I put everything in the cart, put the gift cards in and owed less than $1.

I pressed place my order and it claimed 5 of the 6 gift cards had no value.

I then checked the 6th gift card (the one it said had $25 left) and that one now says it has a value of $0.

I'm almost in tears. On hold with Best Buy (15 minute wait listening to obnoxious music).

Anyone ever had anything like this happen? It makes no sense but I'm so irritated. There's no way he can get this without these gift cards : (

No. It was too late. I called and was on hold for 50 minutes. Called on another line and got through but was then disconnected. Called the third time and got through and it rang for several minutes. The fourth time the representative waited for the gift card department to answer but they didn't because they closed at 530. So I wasted 90 minutes on the phone and the problem wasn't resolved.

One of those days I guess. I know it's just a little thing in the big picture, but it's about to push me over the edge

No history just the balance.

It's so strange because I had ordered 4 from shopkick minutes before plus two others I had. When I put them in the payments page they all had the right amount and when I hit process payment $90 vanished into thin air.

Sorry to vent. Just a frustrating day.
