Best Buy gift card offer?

I remember seeing a little paper in my Best Buy credit card statement about receiving a gift card for different amounts depending on how much you spent. I think I threw it away not thinking I would be buying anything from Best Buy anytime soon. Well, now it looks like I will be, and I'm wondering what the deal was and if I need that little paper. I don't remember it being a coupon though. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Today is trash pickup, and I need to know whether I have to dig in the trash for this paper!

I just spent $1600 at BB and never heard anything about a GC, did it just start. You could call them, easier than trash hunting.

I just called them, and they said they have no idea. I already sat my trash out, so I'm not sure if it's worth running out to the curb and digging.

We received one of those in our Sunday paper, but it was several weeks ago and expired back in November.

Okay, I went out and dug in the trash. But I found it!! It was a coupon. Not valid online, only in stores. $25 for $250 purchase; $50 for $500 purchase; $100 for $1000 purchase.

As I read on the back, it excludes about 75% of what they sell.

That's what we have. It's surprising how those little things (DVDs, CDs, camera case, etc) add up. Last year we bought a PS3, laptop, and printer plus the usual little things - it was nice to get rewards that we didn't have to open up a credit card for.

I've had the rewards card and didn't really get much in rewards until they sent me a triple rewards coupon for my birthday! That's when I convinced DH we had to buy our TV that month.

I used the rewards from that to offset the cost of Ds's PS3 I bought on Black Friday. Then we bought my mom a TV, a router, CD's and now I'm waiting for those rewards.
