Hello! Getting ready to book a 2br at either Kidani or OKW (depending on what's available at the 7 mo mark!) and was wondering what buildings (at each resort) was best to request to being nearest to the pool AND a bus stop! Thanks!!

There really is only one building at Kidani. But there are separate buildings at OKW. We like Millers Road, Turtle Pond and South Point. That's about the entire resort, though. ;)

Well, this Aug we had a standard view 2br at Kidani, 3rd floor #7735. We had a lovely view of the Pembeh Savanah. The Kidani 2brs have a full 3rd bathroom, I much preferred Kidani to Jambo as far as the decor, a bit lighter and the configurations of the villa. The Kidani master bath is like a spa, it's fantastic.

As far as OKW, it's my favorite resort. I prefer quiet pools to the main pool, which is accessable by bus anyway. Kids favorite building is 42 (close to Turtle Shack, snack bar and quiet pool). I like 45, 46 and 55, I like being a bit farther in. Bldg. #15 is closer to the main pool and entrance but it has wonderful views of the golf course and water fountains. That's where our favorite GV is.

IMO I don't think that you would be disapointed with any view from a 2br. I enjoy being by the quiet pools because they have BBQ grills. We grill and have cocktails by the pool while the kids swim, it's very relaxing. Not to be missed, taking the boat to DTD, it's so lovely at night! OKW has boat rentals etc., it's such a wonderful resort.

You can't go wrong with either resort IMO!

For AKL Kidani, assuming you are intending to get savanna view, then the main request to make is "close to lobby." Do not make any other request your first priority because close to lobby puts you close to pool, busses, store, restaurant, and community hall and gives you excellent view on Sunset Savanna which has giraffes. Failure to make close to lobby your No. 1 request creates signficant risk of being far from lobby and distance from lobby to end rooms at Kidani is so long that you need to pack camping equipment so you can stop halfway and pitch a tent to spend the night before continuing on with the long arduous journey in the morning.

:rotfl2: The walk is not a big deal to me (just on luggage and grocery day) but understandibly for some it's a very "big" issue!

At OKW prefer building 55 and liked 46 for view of canal and relatively close to bus stop and pool and building 15 for view of golf course. Had building 20 in Sept and looked directly over the pool and bus was close.
