Best buffets and brunches in the parks

Ariel's has a family style breakfast (in DCA), Plaza Inn has Minnie and Friends buffet breakfast (in Disneyland), Goofy's has a buffet brunch and dinner (DL hotel), Big Thunder BBQ has lunch and dinner family style in Disneyland, Paradise Pier hotel has Surf's Up for a breakfast buffet, and Storytellers (in GCH hotel) has breakfast and dinner buffet.

We are not buffet fans but really enjoyed the Storyteller's Cafe at the Grand Californian. Not in the parks but a 5 minute walk.

I second the vote for Storytellers. We have tried most of the other buffets and find this one to have the best quality and variety of food. Not as many characters, if that's important to you. My kids are teens so that's not something we take into account. Love the decor there as well! If your in DCA it would be a very quick walk if you used the GCH hotel park exit.

I also vote for Storyteller's Cafe. Never tried the breakfast buffet, just the dinner version, and while there are no characters the selection and ambiance are nice and comforting after a long day at the parks. Everytime we have been there the staples they offer are a carved beef roast and turkey, salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, their famous corn chowder, green salad, fruit and kid friendly foods mac and cheese and chicken nuggets. In addition, they have multiple rotating/seasonal hot and cold dishes (i.e. pasta dishes, asian inspired entrees and vegetables). Included is your beverage and dessert bar that rotates seasonally with bite sized treats and ice cream that is scooped by a castmember behind the counter when requested!
