Best Buffet?

I love Crystal Palace for dinner. Yummy!! :lovestruc

I think the food at 1900 PF (dinner) was awful. Very disappointing.

I like Boma and Cape May. 'Ohana is good and fun. And Crystal Palace is my favorite MK TS restaurant; I like going there in spite of the characters!

As an example of different people see things differently, DP listed Boma as one of his 5 least favorite TS restaurants in the World.

The top 3 IMO, in order, are Boma, Tusker House, and Crystal Palace. All are lunch or dinner, I don't like breakfast buffets. I do also like Biergarten and think it is good but nothing special food-wise which is why it isn't in my top 3.

The only dinner buffet we will eat at is Cape May Clambake..it is by far the best one out there.

We have tried all of them except TH and I can honestly tell you we find the foods to be overly salty and not the best quality

Now for breakfast Boma, CP, Cape May, Chef Mickeys are very good

Cape May Clambake-Tried pretty much everywhere but Boma. I'm kind of picky and the menu doesn't really appeal to me. :goodvibes

We have eaten at both Tusker House and Biergarten and enjoyed both very much.

#1 - Cape May
#2 - Tusker House
#3 - We love the appitizer buffet part of the dinner at norway.
#4 - Beigarten

I cannot believe no one has said Biergarten. It's wonderful. (excuse me while I put on my asbestos suit)

I hate Boma.

I totally forgot about the Biergarten. It has one of my favorite desserts. I can't remember the exact name. but I think it's something like Rose Guerte?-a vanilla pudding with berry sauce.

The only buffets we recommend are Boma and Biergarten and we've been to 'em all.

Another vote for Boma, the dinner choices are absolutely wonderful! My son has been eating there since he was 2 and loved it. I'm not a big breakfast eater but if one must do a character breakfast then Tusker House is the only one I consider!

Personally, I would feel a bit out of place at a character meal without kids, so if I were you, I'd choose Cape May. The food was very good, especially if you enjoy seafood. Its not in a park, but you can walk right over to Epcot or even DHS when your done.

Yet another vote for Boma, though I can't believe that the price is up to $40 now (yikes). I also really like Cape May, but I can only recommend it to people who are crazy for steamed clams and mussels (not seafood generally).

We now do Boma just only for breakfast since the price has gone nuts - was only $18 last month and they even have a carving station at breakfast. Coffee is now Joffrey's, no more Nescrap. Even better deal if you have TIW.

Er, the Boma hater here. Thanks for no flames. Boma seems to set off passion in so many. No one likes Boma a little. But the great thing about Disney buffets is there is something for everyone. I :lovestruc Biergarten, but Cape May is high on my list. Crystal Palace has good food, but always seem to be out of a lot of stuff. Boma just isn't what I like. H & V was a little strange, but I found lots I liked. Love Donald's Breakfast Safari, even try the weird stuff like bobotie(sp?). The point is, no one else is you, so you have to pick for yourself. Just check the menus and you'll be fine.

Cape May is our favorite, breakfast or dinner. I also like Beirgarten. I loved Boma on my first visit....and hated it on the 3 most recent visits. Kids thought the same. I keep trying! Chef Mickey has to the worst buffet ever...based on food. I'm trying to stay away from the buffets.....only Cape May booked this trip.

I really like Boma, it's unique and the food is really good.

While I'm not a big buffet person, we did enjoy Tuskers House for lunch.

CRYSTAL PALACE was our absolute favorite-really good Floridian food.

Also, Boma would be a great choice, especially if you don't have kids. :woohoo:
