Best buffet meals ????

Help needed.................

Ive posted before on this topic but still no where near deciding where to eat on our next trip in March??

Thinking buffets will be best as DS is 11 and will not be full with a childs meal so instead of paying for him an adult price thought a child buffet where he can help himself would be a cheaper option

so what buffet meals does everyone recommend ????
We are going for 4 nights/ days so need a few ideas We are shareholders so will get discount

We have only eaten at the buffets at Inventions, Hunters Grill and Plaza Gardens. Plaza Gardens left us unimpressed - limited food choice we thought and no atmosphere in MHO. Inventions is of course a fab place to eat. Fantastic service, great character interaction and lovely atmosphere - however quite fish/seafood biased and we are not big fish eaters.

For us Hunters Grill is our favourite. More homely , standard food, lovely cosy atmoshere, great service. We ate here 3 nights out of 5 on our last trip

The Cheyenne buffet is in the Chuckwagon and is the best IMO - great choice and all hot fresh and tasty. I did a list on its restaurant review page in the restaurant review stickies of what I remembered.

We hated Plaza Gardens, found the Parkside at HNY to be only so-so. Hunters Grill and Beaver Creek were better then the Parkside but not as great as the Chuckwagon at The Cheyenne. Can give you a more up to date review next weekend as we are probably eating there Tuesday and we are also trying Res des Stars on Friday so will post a review on that also.

Last trip we ate at two buffets.

Inventions lunch was amazing. Will be a must do for us now.

Also had the evening buffet in the HNY. Was very poor.

Back in 2009 we had the buffet at La Grange and that was pretty good too.

If your kids a huge buzz lighter/toy story fan then you may want to try Buzz Lightyear’s Pizza Planet Restaurant( depending when in March your going to Disneyland Paris maybe it will be close or only open during the weekend, sorry if I'm wrong since I never been to Buzz Lightyear’s Pizza Planet Restaurant so I don't know when is open and when is close).

If the huge Aladdin fans then try Agrabah Café.

Pizza Planet won't be open in March and it's not a buffet that is recommended for good food or a great atmosphere.

Agrabah is my favourite buffet but as it's more Middle Eastern/Oriental in flavour it doesn't appeal to everyone.

why did you hate plaza gardens? I'm so so eager to try it

Our food was terrible Isila but I know loads of other Disers that love it. The food was cold, any meat was extremely chewy (made me gag) and the CMs were very rude and seemed to really hate their jobs. Plus I thought for what we had as regards quality and choice it was expensive. The dessert section wasnt a patch on The Chuckwagon either. The restaurant is very pretty though.

When did you have this experance? So you would go for another buffet?

May 2010. I would try Plaza Gardens again to see if its improved. Maybe look at TA as the reviews will be more recent.

Wouldn't go so far as to say I hate Plaza Gardens, more that it's OK, Restaurant des Stars is much much better in our experience.

We did restaurant des stars last year and loved it! I'm eager to try plaza gardens but if reviews are so so I might look for another option.

We ate at plaza gardens last year and the food and selection was great. We did get a very grumpy waitress though, and although we asked several times for more drinks we never got them, so we had to buy drinks outside when we left!

Wouldn't put me off going again, but i would recognise this waitress and ask to move tables if we got her again.

We did rest des stars on November was fantastic i love anywhere that doesn't charge for jugs of water !!!!

A jug or carafe of water is always free in France, never pay for bottled water unless you don't like the taste of French tap water. Even when you just get a coffee you can have a glass of water for nothing
