best budget dishwasher?

Ours is getting old, and starting to not clean as well as it used to. So, I am looking ahead before it dies.

I need a stainless steel (inside and out), standard size, energy efficient, etc. And BUDGET, if possible.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

I just bought a Haier. Stainless inside and out and wonderful. There were few reviews on it when I bought it because it's a chinese brand but it was $345 with a $35 rebate. I swear it was so cheap because they are trying to get there brand name out.

I have heard with dishwashers, one of the biggest issues is the racks... you want one with NYLON and NOT PVC.

The pvc is less durable, and if it gets scratched off you pretty much have a ruined dishwasher.

Ones with nylon racks are going to cost more, but in the long run you will be better off spending the extra money and getting a better dishwasher.
