Best Brunch in Disney?

What would you consider to be the best brunch on Disney property? I have read some good reviews for Raglan Road. We usually do breakfast at the Kona Cafe for the Tonga Toast but we are thinking of switching it up this trip.

Thanks!

The only places that have an actual BRUNCH are Raglan Road and House of Blues.

You can make your own brunch by getting one of the latest breakfast ADRs at a buffet and then hope they switch over to lunch options while you're still eating.

It is not "brunch" however Boma has a really expansive breakfast with a ton of different offerings! If you were to make an 10:30 - 11:00 reservation it could easily be both Breakfast and Lunch...

Thanks for the suggestions! We will probably try out Raglan Road this trip. Although the website creeped DW out. I didn't think it was bad, but it did remind me of those old Quiznos commercials with the Hamster.

Yeah, I'm not fond of the cartoon-y guy on their website either, but there food is really good. They have the Rollicking Raglan Brunch on weekends and I've enjoyed it (they also have Irish Dancing and Live Music starting at noon on Sat and Sun).

Technically, Chef Mickey's has a meal called brunch. Saying it is the "best" is probably only possible if you want to say "best character brunch," as there is only one.

I can only say, though, that RR and House of Blues must have better food. If they don't, they need to be firebombed.

Ha! We did Chef Mickey's brunch and really enjoyed it. We liked the combo of breakfast and lunch items, though it did seem a bit odd to have mango ribs and eggs on the same plate.

We thought the food was fine. Not as special as some places, but it was a very typical Disney buffet breakfast, along with some lunch items and desserts to make it interesting.

I think, at best, most people describe food at CM as "fine." It's really a character experience more than a gourmet thing, though. Best character brunch? Sure. Best brunch for a foodie? Eh, maybe not. And I don't think they serve booze until dinner, which means it's certainly not "best brunch for someone who wants a bloody mary."

...which may be me.

Excellent points. We do have two girls (8 and 3). It is a great place for families with kids, but I would not choose Chef Mickey's for brunch if no children were with me.

How about the best brunch at a resort QS/CS? We've used up all our TS credits during our Christmas trip, so I'm trying to figure out where we might have a nice QS brunch on Christmas morning because I don't want to pay OOP. I'm thinking Mara at AKL. Thoughts?

What do you want to eat? Resort QS will be doing breakfast items in the morning, and then they change to lunch items. Are you wanting to combine the two somehow?

No, not necessarily. I should have said breakfast or lunch. I was just wondering if there was something that is a little less "cafeteria" like since it's Christmas morning. We're staying at Pop.

Wolfgang Puck Express over at DTD might be the best option for a QS Christmas breakfast. I don't know what time they change over to lunch, but that would be good too. You still order at the counter, but they bring your meal to you and it's real plates and silverware. AND it's one of the best values for a QS credit anywhere in and out of the parks.

I had a bagel with cream cheese, lox, and capers at the Boma brunch buffet that serious changed my outlook on life. I am normally one of those cranky NE transplants who gripes about never finding a good bagel. This one was perfect. Shiny. Dense without being too dense. The right amount of chewy. None of that puffy, "roll with a hole" nonsense. I was transformed. I think I might become a nun.

If you are looking for a resort location vs an in-park location, I am not much help. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Tusker House breakfast, however. :)
