My DH is a big breakfast guy. The rest of us aren't so much but I want to try to do one meal for him (only one).. So what would you recommend as the best breakfast? Particularly inside the parks? The reason I say that is my kids are young - will be 6, 4 and 2 when we go and we will have a double stroller. I think it may be a bit much to have to get up really early take a bus to downtown disney, than a bus to a resort, than a bus back to the parks etc. Maybe something on the monerail line wouldn't be bad either. Is CRT a good breakfast? We enjoyed the lunch. Oh, and no furry characters (face are fine) my girls are terrified of them.

Well, that limits you - no furry characters.:headache:

The best breakfast in MK is the Crystal Palace, but you have Pooh and all his friends there.

Yes, CRT has a wonderful breakfast and all the princesses are face characters.

The best breakfast in AK is Tusker House but Mickey and Pals will be there.

The best resort breakfast is at Boma's. You could take your resort bus to the AK then transfer to the AKL bus.

For a sit down breakfast (non buffet) the Grand Floridian Cafe has a wonderful breakfast. That's on the monorail line. You could also take the boat from MK there.

Whispering Canyon Cafe also has a good breakfast without characters. Again, take the bus to MK then boat to WL.

Sorry, my boys are all about the characters I'm in the opposite position as you are. They can never get enough character meals.

Are you looking specifically at MK? Only one I can think of there beside CRT is Crystal Palace and they have the Pooh Characters and that won't work. We liked CRT well enough, but once was enough, it to me is not worth that much money and the food wasn't the best I have had, the options aren't great.

Our absolute favorite recentley is 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, because they have the best Maple French Toast. You can hop on the Monorail to MK afterwards. The characters were Alice, Mary Poppins and Mad Hatter.

The only one at Epcot is Akerhaus with the Princesses. DHS has Hollywood and Vine and I think it is the Little Einstein characters and AK has the Tusker House with Donald, but not sure who else.

All the resort meals have other "furry" characters, not sure what you mean by furry, though?

Sorry - furry is anything without a face. Basically anything not clearly a real person. Mickey, Minnie, any of them. My girls are scared to death. I thought maybe my DD3 was a little better till last weeks easter bunny incident. She made it through the line and with determination walked up to the bunny - and freaked out. She wouldn't even be in the same room as the characters last year. She ran screaming out of the gift shop in England in Epcot when we tried to take her to see Alice in Wonderland (turns out pooh and friends are there too!). Are there any characters that have covered faces at the 1900 Park Fair Breakfast? DD1 (almost2) is following suit. I am interested in any parks with good breakfast. We will be visiting them all.

I think Pooh and Tigger have made appearances at 1900 Park Fare, but I don't remember. We had breakfast there in Dec and all I remember was Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. I asked Dh and he couldn't remember. I am going to ask my 10 year old cousin, she will remember and I will let you know. DH looked at his pictures and Tigger and Pooh are there.

Boma does have a wonderful breakfast buffet. we love to stop in at ABC Commissary at DHS for the breakfast bagel, it is huge, DH and I can share one. We aren't really breakfast people, except the Character meals and DHS.

Pizzafari at AK had a nice looking breakfast. My cousin and her children ate there and it looked good, but I didn't eat anything.

All the buffets at the parks have characters and all but 2 have furry characters.

'Ohana is our FAVORITE. It's on the monorail so its easy to get to. Our kids love it. We love it. The food is AMAZING! The service is great.

But they have the "furry" characters her children are terrified of. But, I agree it is a great breakfast.

Whispering Canyons at WL and Boma at AKL are excellent and no characters. In the parks most of the breakfasts have the fury characters, except CRT and Princess Storybook in EPCOT.

Whispering Canyons is especially fun for the kids, even in the absence of characters, the lively staff makes up for it. You can go by boat from the MK. If you go be sure to ask for ketchup!:lmao:

We love the breakfast at CRT, and while it is pricey, we figure half the cost is for the experience, photos and wands and half is for the food. I am not a breakfast person, but I love the food there. The potatoes are soooo gooooood!!!

nobody has mentioned Kona. My mom and I are big breakfast people and Kona is our favorite..and with no characters. Tonga Toast is so yummy!;)
