Best Breakfast Counter Service

In my opinion, at the resorts the food quality at the counter services are basically all the same. So, I can't say one is better than the other. The only park we have eaten breakfast in is Epcot as we totally love Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France. If you tell the CM at the rope that block FW from WS, they will let you proceed to France. We grab coffee and pastries and eat outside near the front of the pavilion and watch the park come "alive".

So, for us, we think that is the best counter service for breakfast.

I think AoA has a fantastic breakfast sandwich that's unlike any others I've seen. It was thick bacon, egg, and cheese sauce served on naan bread. IIRC, you could get palak paneer as a side and that's one of my favorite foods. I am honestly thinking of stopping there on my last day in September to grab one... Which means a trip from OKW to AoA.

I've also heard to go get Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian. My sister (who is obsessed with all-things-Tiki) and I are going on our mid-week "off" day to try it for the first time.

Otherwise, I think most QS resort breakfast is the same. It's all decent, IMHO.

Thank you. I’m going to try the breakfast sandwich at AoA, I’m staying at Pop, not sure how close they are to each other.

We also make a stop at CSR at the Pepper Market. It's counter service with a twist. You are seated at a table and a sever brings you your drinks. Then you go up to any number of grill areas to choose your food. They stamp a card showing what you ordered and you pay after your meal. It's pretty relaxing and a nice hybrid between a TS and QS.

We're also fans of the AoA food court. So bright and colorful. And the food was good. Like one of the PP's said - most of the offerings are the same so we base ours around theme a lot of times.

My favorite QS breakfast is at Be Our Guest in MK. It's TS for dinner and QS for breakfast and lunch. Pricey if you're not on the dining plan, but if you are, it's a very good use of QS credits! I also love Les Halles in Epcot. I find the QS options at resorts tend to be more or less the same. Captain Cook's has tonga toast, which makes it unique.

Wolfgang Puck in the Marketplace has an excellent selection. If you are looking for a sugar fix then the Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian.

AofA also has a breakfast burger with any egg on it. A must for my husband each trip.
I have also heard that The Wilderness Lodge's QS has a special stuffed French toast. I have not had it, but maybe someone else hear has.

AOA food court is a quick easy walk from POP and on my one previous breakfast there was a lot less crowded.

Quiche Lorraine at Les Halles is :thumbsup2

Thank you everyone. I made a ADR at Kona, what’s the difference between this and Captain Cooks? I’m definitely going to AOA, Just have to decide between the rest

If you are looking for something traditional the breakfast platter at Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot will fill you up.

We aren't huge breakfast fans, but love, love, love the nutella and fruit waffles from Sleepy Hollow and the Cinnamon Rolls @ Gastons! Both are delicious, quick, and relatively cheap meals.

Kona serves a much more expansive menu than Captain Cooks and is a sit down meal vs. counter service. They both do serve the legendary Tonga Toast, but I believe the Captain Cook version does not come with the strawberry sauce on the side.

As others have said, the bakery in France in EPCOT is out of this world good!!! This might be controversial, but if you’re at Hollywood Studios, I always love to start the day off right with a carrot cake cookie!!! So delicious! I think they’re now available at the Starbucks.

Definitely prefer CS breakfast at
Be Our Guest have tried all the entrees and they were all good,
Wolfgang Puck - breakfast pizza, waffles and cornflake French toast,
EOS - great for a cheap sandwich, fruit and yoghurt if not on ddp,
Boulangerie Patisserie - fabulous coffee and the only bad bit is deciding between the sweet and savoury options. Their almond croissant is fantastic
Also Roaring Fork at WL used to do the most amazing range of waffles but haven’t seen them listed for a while.
When we last went in 2016 there was strawberry and cream or chocolate chip and cream or banana fosters.

chocolateMinnie, thank you. What is EOS. I didn’t realize BOG had a CS.

The fruit and nutella waffle at Sleepy Hallow in MK is great. I had one last time and I'll definitely get that again. Also, Sunshine Seasons at Epcot.

Overall, I think they could do a lot better with their QS breakfast offerings in the parks. The resorts all seem to be the same.
