It's been a long time since I have done a breakfast buffet. I don't want to do Crystal Palace. What other buffets are your favorites?

Trail's End is awesome, if you're willing to make the trip to Fort Wilderness.

Boma at AKL, for sure!
If you want a character meal then I suggest Tusker House at AK. They have a very similar buffet and feel, fewer offerings but awesome character interactions. Probably the best character interactions. TH is also a great ppo reservation
Both places have jungle juice, which is so yummy, and lots of American breakfast offerings along with the African dishes.

As previous posters have mentioned, I also like The Wave, Tusker House, Boma, 1900 Park Fare, and Cape May Cafe.

Cape May & 1900 Park Fare are excellent Character buffets outside the Parks.

But the best 'value' that is not a Character meal is at Fresh (inside Dolphin).

There may be fewer choices on the buffet, but omelettes and pancakes are made to order, and you can also enjoy costly fresh juices (i.e., carrot & wheatgrass).

Fresh discounts for DVC & AAA members.

We enjoy Boma, but only when staying at AKLodge (or if we had our own car).

We were just there a couple weeks ago and enjoyed Trails End (more laid back) and very good. They have some great pecan sticky rolls!! We also ate at The Wave (a little more 'classy'). It was also delicious!
