We like The Wave and Trails End for breakfast buffets. No characters, so makes less pricey, plus food is really good at both.

We are just back and did them ALL! We took our picky nieces and the 5 year old ate eggs, ketchup, bacon and watermelon at every meal. You will be fine with whatever you choose. Pick the menu that appeals to you or based on characters. My favorite food wise was 1900 Park Fare and also characters. They came at least 3 times. Feel free to ask away. I'm done with bacon for a month. What do you think is the best breakfast buffet?
We're extremely picky eaters and you can't really mess up waffles, biscuits, and sausage (possibly bacon after some of the reviews i've read!)We have a 1:50pm "brunch" ADR for Chef Mickey's, but i'm looking for other suggestions!
We once made a reservation for Trail's End right at opening time (we were staying at BLT and took the boat - great ride at 7:30am!). We were the ONLY guests in the place until about halfway through the meal, which is a really unique experience at Disney. Food was great, price was right, and terrific service because our server only had one table (ours).Trail's End has a FANTASTIC breakfast buffet and it's far less expensive than the others but has tons of great options including pulled pork eggs Benedict (amazing), breakfast pizza, sticky pecan buns, even cute mason jars of guava-orange juice. The traditional offerings are great too, including Mickey Waffles. It's an easy boat ride from Magic Kingdom, and it's neat to see a bit of the Fort Wilderness resort which is a nice respite from the parks.
