Best breakfast buffet in the resorts

so me and my wife want to get a good breakfast buffet the first morning we arrive. In a few weeks. any recommendations? We trying to make a reservation last minute.

Boma!! Everything was amazing.

Among our favorites (and they are non-character ones) are The Wave at Contemporary, Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness, and Captain's Grill at Yacht Club. Kinda depends where are are staying and where you will go after breakfast.

I'd say 1900 park fare allot to choose from and delicious. If your not into characters then don't go.

Boma! French toast bread pudding with praline sauce. Grilled asparagus and tomatoes. Tasty coffee and juice. And all the standard breakfast offerings too.

We really enjoy The Wave and Boma.

Character breakfasts are fun, but I book them for the interactions and not the food (though it's okay -- just very standard). Our favorite used to be 1900 Park Fare, but in December the Mad Hatter was meeting in the former entry and not visiting the tables. His antics were the main reason we went time and again, so I did not book it for our upcoming trip. Same for dinner. Cinderella was meeting in the former entry instead of visiting tables and the food and service were horrible. Such a shame because that was always our arrival night dinner. We enjoyed the food and got a good laugh with (at?) the stepsisters. It just left a sour taste in my mouth and for the first time in at least a decade, we don't have a single meal booked there for our June trip.

Trail's End at Fort Wilderness. Great buffet, good price, no characters. Food is more than just your typical Disney breakfast.

I really liked 1900 Park Fare and I'm not into character meet and greets. Trying The Wave next trip. Josh from easyWDW posted a great review of the buffet. Doesn't look quite as big as 1900 Park Fare's, but all of the options look delicious.

It's not a buffet but we really enjoy Ohana breakfast! Not even for the characters. We love the atmosphere and family style breakfast feast!

Boma, for sure! Our absolute favorite! Ohana is great too, although not a buffet..it's considered family style.
