Sure we like the characters but if there is better food elsewhere, I'd rather have the good food. Please let me know what the best breafast buffet is in your opinion :)

I would have to say 1900 Park Fare is the best buffet. Cape May Cafe and Chef Mickeys come in a close 2nd.

We aren't into characters much anymore and we enjoy the buffet at Ft Wilderness (Trails End), it does not have quite as many choices as the others stated, but they have some great specialty items, and are 1/2 the price of the others.

It is so relaxed over there....we ride the boat from the CR and then wander around after breakfast to the petting zoo and horse barn (where they keep all of the main st horses)....makes for a great AM activity if you aren't rushing to the parks.

I think 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has the best character buffet and Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge has the best overall breakfast buffet.

Our families two favorites are Fresh at the Dolphin and Boma at AKL. Neither are character meals, but they have great food! I have heard great things about Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace for a character experience, but have tried neither for breakfast (have tried CP for lunch and dinner, but have yet to try CM's).

::yes::

Crystal Palace is great for any of the meals. Chef Mickey's is good for breakfast, but awful for dinner.

Tried Boma for the first time this trip and absolutely loved it!

My top 3 favorite breakfast spots at the world are CP, Boma & Fresh. Each is a must do for my DH and me every trip. We are staying at AKL this year for part of our trip so I have a feeling that there will be more than one Boma breakfast this trip! :D

Chef Mickeys had great character interaction but I wasn't at all crazy about the food. not much selection and the quality of the food for both breakfast and dinner wasn't that great.

I totally agree. My family gives Trails End a "thumbs up" too. We usually eat a big breakfast on our MK day, and then skip lunch. The value at the Trails End can't be beat!! Love it!
