While BOMA is really good, now that we have kids I much prefer the restaurants that bring everything to the table We ate at Kona Cafe and Kouzzina last trip. Kouzzina was by far the better of the two for us! It is a must do on our next trip. Kona was good but a bit rushed.
Thanks for all the great advice folks! As much as we love Boma, I can't see paying $90 OOP for breakfast - anywhere - ever. I'm sure it's great, but it's just too steep for what we'll eat for breakfast.
We have the DDP, but this is an OOP meal. I think A la Carte is the way to go - Puck Express sounds intriguing, as do Olivia's, Kona, and Kouzzina.
We have a non-park day scheduled as well and will be having breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I haven't been but have heard lots about it. I am correct in my thinking that it is NOT inside a park, right? Hope so!

Yes this is not in a park, its in the Contemporary Resort, but, I would try some of the other options, Chef Mickey is a character breakfast that to me is over priced and the food is not as good as some of the other choices. If you definetly want a character meal not in a resort I would go with Ohanas ap the Poly, or if it doesnt matter about the characters I would go to Kona Cafe. Their Steak and eggs: Menu quote "Steak and Eggs - 5-oz New York Strip Steak char-grilled and served with two Eggs, home fried potatoes, and biscuits. - $14.49 "
is excellent and you get a NY Strip not a sirloin for a decent price.

C.Mickeys is by far the worst breakfast i've ever had at disney. Everything about it was awful, the food: quality was crap. Heck, it wasnt even warm, it was lukewarm! The atmosphere is absolutely dreadful. Reminds me of a school cafe. For such a nice hotel, why would it decorate it so poorly? I wouldnt go back. Did it once, good enough. Lol.
KONA gets my vote for the best food. I love their tonga toast, pressed coffee pot, and their juice (is it called iliko???). Next time im gonna try the macadamia pineapple pancakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
