Hi...we haven't been in 11 years and looking to find as much information as possible...
thanks
Is there a book on Amazon or one that someone could suggest!
You're probably just as well informed if you visit their website http://www.seaworld.com and then ask any further questions on here.
SW hasn't changed a massive amount from when you were last there. The main shows, Shamu, dolphins and seal + sealions have changed their themes/formats but are basically the same. Manatees, penguins, sharks, coral reef, stingrays, kids play area and free beer all still the same .
New things may be Wild Arctic , Dolphin cove (feed and pet dolphins) , Pacific point preserve (feed and watch seals+sealions in a very realistic enclosure) , Pets ahoy ( cute indoor kids show) , Kracken ( very good roller coaster) and JTA ( cross between thunder and splash mountains is probable as close as I can get) . There's a new fireworks show at the end of the day and I'm not sure if they have anything to replace the old waterskiing show as yet. I beleive that area was "black" while the worked on the new fireworks. There is also a whole new restaurant and shop area.
The Unofficial Guide puts out a book, Beyond Disney, that covers Sea World. It covers Universal and other places too, but there is some good information on Sea World in it, if you must get a book.
