Best bet for Pluto - LTT or Garden Grill?

Hi,
I have a Pluto fan (DS 7) who bravely tolerates a Princess meal every trip with his sister (DD 6). In return he gets to pick a meal.

He loves Pluto and wants to eat with him (again). We want to try somewhere we haven't eaten and have narrowed it to Liberty Tree Tavern or Garden Grill. He likes the idea of either theme (gardener or colonial) and I have heard reports of Pluto being at both. But of course he is not guarenteed.

Has anyone had experience eating at either (or both) orf these restaurants and most importantly, did you see Pluto? I'm just trying to get a feel of which one we would have better luck spotting the lovable dog at.

We had Pluto at both. I wouldn't worry about not being able to find him at either. We really enjoy both restaurants and have had about the same amount of character interaction at both, as well.

We have done the Garden Grill social twice and have seen Pluto. While it was a great place to relax, I don't enjoy the high seating of the booths. Some might think it's great for privacy, but I enjoy watching the characters at other tables, and we don't feel we can do tha at Garden Grill.

However, if you are looking for an inexpensive character meal, a time out in Epcot in the afternoon the Ice Cream Social might be your ticket. Sorry, we've never had a meal here.

We have had dinner at the Liberty tree Tavern and saw Pluto but Chip and Dale were the ones who spent the most time with us. Sorry I don't have more to say about that (except I'm not a big fan of the food there).

We usually spend time with Pluto at Chef Mickey's - that meal seems to please WHOEVER we are traveling with!

I can't comment on LTT (haven't done the character dinner there) but we had a great time at Garden Grill. Pluto is my older DS's favorite character, and we've had several character meals with Pluto present, but he was the most playful and spent the most time with us at Garden Grill. I didn't especially care for the food, but the boys liked it, and we all enjoyed watching the slowly changing view as the seating area rotated.

we have eaten at GG (7 plus times) and Pluto is always there! My DD loves "Dudo" too!

We loved the Garden Grill...and yes, Pluto was there! I don't think I'll ever make a trip to Disney without having dinner at the Garden Grill, we enjoyed it that much!

We love LTT & it is a must do for us every trip. The characters are always great - Pluto is my favorite to see here, too. The food is always delicious & the restaurant is fun with the colonial dress.

We tried Garden Grill 2 years ago & had a lot of fun with the characters. I wasn't as crazy about the food here, but we may try it again in September.

Another favorite of ours is Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK - we have always seen Pluto here, too.

We have also found Pluto at Chef Mickey's & have found that we enjoy this meal at breakfast best. Good luck with your decision!

We actually went to both places a couple of weeks ago. Pluto was at both.

At LTT, he made a big deal over DH's bald head (he shaves it) and came around 3 times while we were there. Each time he was a lot of fun and in addition to individual attention for us, he interacted with several table at once and had us all laughing.

At Garden Grill, he also came around quite a bit and we had good interaction. There, he had a play fight with one of the waitresses, took DD's fork with cake on it and pretended he was going to fling it at the waitress.

If I had to choose, I'd go to LTT. We enjoyed the food better and the character interaction with the guests was just a slight bit better.
