We love good bar-b-que, especially ribs and are looking for any recommendations anyone may have concerning this.

Thanks

Ok, I haven't tried this but I was given this information on good authority that this place has AMAZING BBQ! I love the name! :rotfl:
BUBBALOU'S BODACIOUS BBQ
12100 Challenger Parkway
Orlando, FL 32826

This comes up all the time and usually everyone picks Babbalou's. I love it too.

There is a Damons at Old Town. It's always good every time I eat there.

A favorite of the locals is Sonny's Real Pit BBQ. They have several in FLorida and have been branching out a little through the South, but don't pass them up because you think they are a chain restaurant. They are really good and the price is right.

Been to Sonny' s been to Bubba's there is no comparison....Bubbas wins hands down in my book.

I find Sonny's prices for specifically, baby back ribs to be VERY high. They have other rib cuts that are cheaper but Bubbalou's is substantially lower than Sonny's in price for baby backs, (the cream of the rib crop ;) ) and hands down better tasting.

madisonsmom,
I don't mean to step on your review of Sonny's in any way, but the next time you're in Orlando, check out Bubbalou's. They are really something special.

Funny thing is...I am a vegetarian! :rotfl2: Going on from when I used to live in Orlando(I was a meat eater then), I worked at Sonnys for awhile as a teenager(won't tell you how long ago that is!) and my dh LOVES it, we don't have them here in SC, but we have GREAT bbq places(sauce is good anyway, couldn't tell you about the meat ;) ) We always have to stop when we go down there to visit family in the area.

Sonny's is good, but I don't think it isn't as nice as Damon's. There is alot of good atmosphere down at Old Town too. Damon's prices are good and you can usually find a coupon for a free appetizer in one of those coupon books too.

Isn't Damons more of a steak house with Ribs than a BBQ place? That is what I always thought? Maybe I am wrong though. Is it the same Damon's that is the chain restaurant? We had one in Asheville, NC (it closed down a couple years back)and it wasn't really BBQ at all, more steak and seafood with some ribs. :confused3
