Great birthday and grandbaby update DDad. I loved all the pics, they were great. I especially loved the look on Alexa's face with the dancing Santa, :rotfl2: that was a riot!

Looks like LeeSee had a really happy birthday. Her cake, Rainbow Brite is cute, I love those character cakes. I don't think I ever did Rainbow Brite for Sharky, I did Strawberry Shortcake, Sesame Street characters and others but never Rainbow Brite, she's cute!

Very cool job with the suprise wake-up to start Lee See's Birthday and I loved the pic of her getting ready to blow out the candled :) Lexie is quite the charmer too - great Christmas blow-up extravaganza! :cool1:

Hey .....Old Man......do we have plans for Saturday? Parents Day out.......

OK......I need help thinking of 2 side dishes to take to an informal Christmas party tomorrow.....at the Karate Dojo.......

If its a hot meal and you want a hot side dish I have a delicious broccoli casserole dish recipe that I can post! Let me know if you want it. If they are having ham, I have a perfect side dish that compliments ham and it is in the order of dressing for turkey only sweet!

Hey .....Old Man......do we have plans for Saturday? Parents Day out.......

yeah... OLD MAN!

Ok DMom, here's a "real" recipe for you, just to prove I really can cook without drinking, LOL. :rotfl2:

Broccoli Casserole

1 bag of frozen chopped broccoli 1 cup mayonnaise
1 can cream of broccoli soup 1 stick margarine
1 cup shredded sharp cheese 1 sleeve Ritz crackers

Cook broccoli & drain off water. Spread out in greased casserole dish.
Cook can of soup (do NOT add milk or water), mayonnaise, and shredding cheese until all melts and gets creamy. Pour over the broccoli.
In a frying pan melt the stick of margarine, the turn the fire off, crush up the Ritz crackers and stir them in the melted margarine until all crumbs are moist and margarine has been absorbed.
Sprinkle them on top of the creamy soup mixture and kind of spread them around with the back of a spoon until it covers the whole top.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. I recommend you sit it on a cookie sheet to bake as if you fill the casserole dish too high it may start to boil over.

Goes great with a baked ham.

And....the other legitimate recipe I mentioned!!! See everyone, Disneymommom can cook!!!

Pineapple Souffle

1 stick of margarine or butter ( 1/2 cup) 2/3 cups of sugar
3 eggs 5 slices of bread (cubed)
1 can crushed pineapple (appro 10 oz) drained (save juice in case it's too dry)

Cream together the margarine and sugar. Slowly add the three eggs, one at a time, slightly beaten and mix.
Cube up (or tear) the 5 slices of bread and add them and continue to mix until it's all mixed well
Add the drained pineapple and mix. Grease a casserole dish, put mixture in it and bake for one hour at 350 degrees or until a nice golden brown.

Also perfect with a baked ham
