Hi Leger--just thought I would throw my two cents in--my mom & dad tried for kids for 8 years (back in the day when you couldn't find out what was wrong), then adopted my DS.... then were trying to adopt again when they discovered they were pregnant after 11 years! My in-laws tried 8 years before Disneydad came along and 10 more before his brother was born. Patience is the word of the day. Enjoy each other while you can!!!!

Wow!! 8 years and then 10 years!! That's a long time but I'm glad to hear that it is possible to happen, even after trying for so long. I'm actually leaning towards not going to a specialist if my OB Fertility specialist can't find anything wrong with either of us. I figure, if something was terribly wrong they'd find it with the initial tests. I don't want to have to take all those crazy fertility drugs. I'm already crazy enough w/o extra hormones in my body to make things worse Plus, I'd feel like I was playing God and trying to force something to happen that apparently isn't happening for a reason (unknown to me right now).

It was really upsetting and depressing for a few years but I've finally found peace with the fact that not having kids isn't the end of the world.

Anyways, I think Disneydad needs to get you a laptop as well. It's not fair that he gets to get on the DIS boards all the time and have fun while you just get a measly peek over his shoulder and maybe actual use of the computer while he's gone somewhere.

Whew -- it took me two days but I am finally caught up. I was without internet at work for 2 1/2 days and at home it's all about the kids. Great Mullet pictures ! I must painfully admit that I rocked the mullet for a short time in the eighties (or femmullet). Now I look back and have no idea what I was thinking.

So I guess we are on to lizard pics...
