Hey you guys,
Sorry I have been AWOL so much.....Friday Pat came home and we needed to shop for groceries.....so we went to the Disney Store... and a movie ...and lunch...and then shopped for the food! And ...the kids were the only ones that got anything from the Disney Store....well except for a hat for my sister....when we gave her the gifts from Disney she looked at Drew and said......why didn't you bring me something piratey from Disney......she was just giving him a hard time.......so we bought her a Jack Sparrow hat!

Then yesterday I spent the morning with my sister ....we had breakfast and just goofed off at her house for awhile......then the girls and I went to Target....found the coolest oriental dishes and jewelry boxes in the cheap bins up front....then we found out the boots were on sale......you guessed it....both girls now have new boots..

Then I came home and organized the pics....by day of course.... for DisneyDad to start his TRIP REPORT.......


Oh and DDad had a play date with one of his buddies all day yesterday to watch football....

But organizing the pics is by far the most important thing that has happened in the last couple of days........

you got the pictures organized. I know that can be a task all in itself. I started doing that on our way home from WDW and didn't get done till two days later Hope DDad gets started soon.

I'm gonna PM you my email addy so we can organize this quilt thing and figure out when we can get together

Ok, I cracked. Yep. Couldn't take it anymore. Dude, you gotta get this thing moved out of here. Mainstream, the main board, hit the lights, no more of this off Broadway stuff. It's a good thing you started up again, cuz I was going to fill in. such as;

Our first day there, we met this really great couple from Chicago. She was as classy as I thought she'd be, and he was just a riot to be with. Karen took a picture of all of us:

But, since your back and typing the story again, I won't have to do this.
By the way, send Oh Mari a personal message asking her to move this thing, before it gets too heavy for her to lift.

haha yeah. Disneymom over here quilts and she's in my area so we're gonna get together on the DIS/Focker quilt. Thought it'd be a good idea to get some help
I haven't been to those other threads...I'll have to locate them and see if I can recruit some other quilters (if there are any there). hmmm...a croc pattern? I might have to get creative and do a croc block or something

Chapter 36: Day 1 or Day 1 Minus 2 as the real story Goes!!!!

Ok so the above statement is confusing!!!

I am starting this Trip Report...2 days before we actually arrive in Disney!!!!!

So Drew & I get up early on the 20th of September...& finish Loading the Van....

We are outta There soon!!!......

We get up......& then the Girls & DisneyMom get up!!!...we have Breakfast together .....DisneyMom takes Pics of the calender for 1 last Countdown Post before we leave......

I load it into the Van Last....& off we go!!!

Remember the Girls Flew Down....On ticket paid for By MIL......So they did not leave for quite a while after Drew & I left!!!

Our trip down was very uneventful!!!!! Although we did notice it was much easier to ride down without 3 Women in the Van!!!!

Yes I know I will get in trouble for that Comment...but it is the Truth!

Ok so Mostley We listned to Old time Radio shows ...Like The Lone Ranger...The Whistler....Gunsmoke....The Saint....Broadway Joe....& the Like!!!! Drew really got into the Shows...which I Thought was cool....Cause I record them on My XM Radio & listen to them all week while I work...so it was Nice to get Him into it!!!

We stopped only once on the Way down....at exit # 2 off of I-75......I always stop at the Flying J & get Gas & have lunch on the way Down...& it was a good thing cause Gas was cheap their!!!

We Ordered a Pizza...(a whole Pizza was just $9.00) & then we hit the Road again...& the Next stop was the Seralago Hotel & Suites....

& this is where the First Surprise of many to come this trip happened....I had booked a Room with a King Bed & a Sofa bed ....on a BOGO deal.....but what NO one knew was tha I had Upgraded to a Kid Suite...

Well that is a Fort with Bunk beds on one side & another bed on the other...

It was very Cool & the Kids loved it...In fact you May here more about it Later !! 1

So I let Drew open the Door....& Surprise!!!!....HE thought it was awesome right off the Bat...then He hatched a plan to foll the Girls...

They got to Fly so I let him pick which bed he wanted...He choose the Top Bunk.....

Well we had had much discussion before we left as to where each person would sleep.....

& the conclusion was that DisneyMom & I & Anna would sleep on the King Bed ...& Drew & LeeSee would sleep on the Pull out....Not the First time we have stayed in a room like this!!!!

So Drew got to Tell the Girls.....All about the Room after I picked them up at the Airport!!!!...& he told them the Sofa bed was small & that the Room was OK but Nice....So when they Walked in & saw the "Fort" they about fell in the Floor......Surprise # 2.....

Any who as I just stated ....& for those of you who read the PTR....The girls Flew Down On K's Mothers Dime... ...

So here are a few stories & Pics...from that Flight...

After Drew & I left DisneyMom posted the Last Calender Countdown..& she & the Girls Sat around for a bit...then decided to call Her Mom & see if she would Go ahead & come get them Early & take them to Her House....so they could Hang out With our DGrandchild....so she did...& they Did!!!!

Well they Had top leave to go to the Airport around 4:30pm...around the Time Drew & I were Hitting the Turnpike!!!

They arrived at the Airport in plenty of time...& ended up Taking a Couple of Pics & Buying 2 waters, a Candy Bar & a Pack of gum....For $9.00 what a rip off!!!

Here are some Pics!!!!...Oh BTW DisneyMom made this Nice older Gentleman move..so she could take these Picks....I am sure she will disagree..but that is how I heard it!!!

They got to Meet the Captain...& Put on his Hat...Look at the 2 Fingers above Banana's Head...We just Saw that in the Pic...Too Funny!!!

& Finally Them in the Seats...Anna rode in the Window seat until the last few Minutes...the Leesee took over!!!

Drew & I headed over to the airport around 6:30pm...We got their in plenty of time....

& parked in the Cell Phone Lot!!!!!.....I texted Karen1 to see if they had landed & around 7:30pm she texted me Back & said they were on the Ground!!!

So we headed over & picked them up....& drove Back to Seralago!!!

With Drew really building up the Surprise..(he really almost Blew it)...DisneyMom did not even Know...but thoguht it odd the way he was going On....But alas she was still Surprised!!!


We decided to go to the Black Angus Steakhouse & have Dinner...It is located on Hwy 192 in a Suites Hotel...It was Good...the Service was slow...but they were crowded....We forgot to take the Camera..so No Pics...sorry...THe Kids had THe KIds steak except for Anna who had Chicken Nuggets...(she Regretted it later)...Karen Had the Prime Rib..It was good but they gave her an End Piece..so it was too much Flavor...& I had the Ribeye...one of the Best I have had at a Steakhouse...I gave K...half of mine since hers was hard to eat....& then I cut off the outside of hers....& it turned out to be aq very good piece of Prime Rib....She had a Tropical drink.....& that about did her in..I had a Beer....(as I was Driving)....

We headed back to the Hotel & called it a Night....We had a Big day NOT planned for the Next day...so to bed early.....

& that is T minus 2 Days & counting!!!!
