Frosty The Snowman

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal.
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say,
He was made of snow but the children
Know how he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic in that
Old silk hat they found.
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around.
O, Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be,
And the children say he could laugh
And play just the same as you and me.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Frosty go.

Over the hills of snow.

Frosty the snowman knew
The sun was hot that day,
So he said, "Let's run and
We'll have some fun
Now before I melt away."
Down to the village,
With a broomstick in his hand,
Running here and there all
Around the square saying,
Catch me if you can.
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop.
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"
For Frosty the snow man
Had to hurry on his way,
But he waved goodbye saying,

I'll be back again some day."

A Would-be Pirates Tale



We start off with the fact that on our 2006 trip, we rode PoC many times........and several of those times the pirate show with Captain Jack Sparrow was occuring just outside.........now Drew was desperate to be in the show.........but no one wanted to stay with him..........but finally after the 5th or 6th ride, I decided I would wait with him.

I Explained very thoroughly as we walked over that the chances of him being picked were slim at best........

We made our way through the forming crowd........and some very nice people let Drew up toward the front so he could see........
when they started asking for volunteers to be in the show, Drew, shy retiring child that he is, starts screaming in earnest at the top of his lungs .......


PICK ME, PICK ME, PICK MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!








Imagine my shock..............

when Captain Jack took my innocent child under his wing.........

taught him to wield a sword..............

and hid behind him like the pirate he is.........

He even has proof that he is a real pirate........which he occasionally carries with him, say on Halloween and to Princess breakfasts.......

I am such a proud mama!






Now, I know you need more than just that.........

I love Anna with the pins too - she looks all hot and Disney-ish! My girls were given those pins too! The CM ripped the card in half though and gave them each one!

Great story about your 2006 visit. I'm so glad Drew got picked to be in the Pirate show. Kids love that stuff when they get picked to go down on the stage or to be out in the front with the characters as part of a skit. I can tell Drew was really in it by the way he really looked like a pirate, great stance and all!

Sweet pick of you and DD. Isn't it funny how they are always Daddy's little girl? It's such a special moment when they come sit on Mom's lap and hug us.

I loved the year of a Million Dreams with the CM too.

It was all worth waiting for. Thanks Disneymom!!!
