Sorry I have not been on lately..........but you know how much DDad has been on this last few days........and when he is not on the DIS (or elsewhere).....he wants to watch shows that we have taped and are 2 or 3 weeks behind on watching!!!!!!!!!!!

What a way to start off the day. My Bro asked me how i would feel if someone called me and said I had just lost $800 i said considering what my income is I'd BAWL my head off. He said that's what you just told me!! I said YEA Right in the middle of Sea World where you are spending money!!!

And then I finaly made it to my SIS. house. She is @ an hour and 15 min. away.

I love decorating for Fall and Christmas!!!!! I am not doing anything to our house till next week though. We are WAY too busy right now to be getting into our decorations!!!
O.k. THANKSGIVING!!! I love that day!! I have so much to be Thankfull for and getting together with my family is always fun.
First of all I had to finish my cooking and then on the way to my Sis we had to stop by my Bro and Sis-in-laws house to check on their dogs. They went to SeaWorld for Thanksgiving. This was her families year for Thanksgiving and next year they will be with us. Anyway I go to check on the puppies and one had died!!
We ate WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY TOO much and took home leftovers for today! We laughed until we cried and we videod as we allways do and then at Christmas we watch some of the past and present years videos of past THanksgiving and Christmas videos.
This year we also took some special video for my nephew who is in Iraq. We showed him the table, with a special critique of all the food by my youngest sister. She went around the table and gave him the whats whats on each dish , whomade it and what it tasted like and then she got to the famous Sweet Potato Souffle. First of all we have had this dish at gatherings forever. My oldest Sister (my nephew in Iraqs mom) made it for ever and the last few years I made it and then this year she made it again. Well she was supposed to. First my youngest Sis was upset (In a joking, but serious way) Because It didn't have any marshmellows and then when she tasted it. Well they all tasted it and looked down the table of 22 people at me and I'm the only one that doesn't have any on my plate!! (It DID NOT look good to me!!!) I had a yam pattie. Everyone started laughing and I said what and they said She is the smart one. So we are doing the video of the food and she is talking about the souffle and how it doesn't have any Marshmellows. And ---- You are Wondering Where are the Marshmellows? Well Your Mom says they are in the bag at the store!!!! And for a taste of this STUFF --BLECH!!!! It was pretty disgusting!!! Turns out my Sister had eaten some at a Resruarant and it tasted like ours so she orders a pan of it and It Was REALLY GROSS!!!!!!!!
Then we (Us 5 women, My Mom and us four girls) minus my Oldest Sis who waas taping the video gathered @ the ham and snorted like pigs and then my Mom Fixed my nephew a plate and told him it would be waiting on the top of her refrigerator when he gets home in March!!!
You had to have been there. It was so funny!! First of all my Mom is a very classy and dignified lady and when she started doing this, she pushed her glasses down and was making this face and was using this really strange accent and voice. Then when my sister told her she was sending it to Iraq and all the guys would see it, you should have seen her face!!!!
My nephew has a very strange sense of humor like the rest of our family and he will enjoy it!!! We also had each person send a message and had all the kids sing to him The "She's so blue" song off of VEGGIETALES Madame Blueberry and then all the Aunts (me and my Sis) sang this to him:

As you can tell we are a pretty warped bunch but we had fun!!! And we were all missing my nephew pretty bad so that helped.

We also had Turkey, Gravy, Cornbread dressing, 2 Hams, Broccolie casserole, Sweet potato Souffle, Corn Casserole, Green Bean Casserole, Frozen lemonaid pie(2), Frozen chocolate dream pie(2), Coconut Cream Pie, Chocolate cream Pie, Fresh Apple Cake, Pumpkin pie, and Sweet Potatoe Pie, And a Diabetic friendly carrot cake for my Dad!
Too bad we didn't have a variety huh????
