DS never cared much for costumes or facepainting, but DD (age 3) adores both. She wears princess costumes any time I let her. She loves dressing up and getting her face painted. She loves having little tea parties with her dolls.
We go to WDW every year, so we can afford to wait for a "good age." What do people who have done it with little girls recommend as the best age/ages to try BBB? I know she could technically do it for our upcoming trip, and I think she'd enjoy the experience, but I'm inclined to think 3 is a little young. She doesn't wait well yet, and if they were running behind and she had to sit around and wait for more than about 20 or 30 minutes, I think she'd be terrible by the time she got taken in.
She is also fairly interested in mermaids and pirates, so I think she might enjoy Pirates League as well, particularly if she gets a sword to whack her brother with. It seems like it might be better for slightly older kids, but again, DS was never interested, so we've never tried it.
The My Disney Girl Perfectly Princess tea looks like something she would absolutely adore, but it also seems like it would be good for a slightly older child. What ages have been most successful for those of you who have tried it?
Am I missing any particularly good princess activities for young girls? (We already have meet and greets and character meals booked.)
