Best advice/worst advice?

I've picked up tons of tips from DIS posters over the last five years and I really can't think of a time I've been steered wrong.

From how to get "codes" (when they were prevalent) to how to play EE (before it became EMH),to using FASTPASS, to "take the nap, take the nap, take the nap!" (actually that one came from the Unofficial Guide book), I've received insights that have saved me hundreds of $$ and lots of headaches.

Just curious--what's the best advice/tip you picked up on these boards? And has anybody ever steered you wrong?

This might be a lame post--I've had more than a few, but you have to understand it's February in northern Minnesota and my in-laws are in town (not that there's anything wrong with in-laws ;) )--so I'm in desperate need of a diversion.

Thanks to anyone who chooses to humor me!

Oh I would love to heard some the opinions on this. I'm leaving in 19 days (yea!!!) and it would come in handy for me. :scratchin

best advice: go early early early and hit all the big must do things way before lunch time

worst advice: go back to resort mid day.... with a disclaimer.... we go off season so it just wastes time when we can rest via sitting down for a leisurely lunch and not waste so much time in travel to and fro. course we don't commando all day anymore either so we stop and smell the roses a lot after our early morning commando tour nor do we have to contend with heat and crowds so we don't get as tired

Make a reservation for O'hanas close to the Wishes time. Get there early and request a window table!

Um..

Best Advice Go early to do the major attractions (Jay and I toured everything we wanted to do in MK in about 2hrs [max!] - but TGM really helped with this as well :thumbsup2 ) - but maybe this isn't so important if you go every year..?

Worst Advice Can't really think of any worst advice :confused3

Most recently it was learning about Southwest's DING on these boards. We saved $400 on our flight. :) Worst advice? I can't really think of anything except all the negative posts on SSR. We absolutely loved this resort!

best bring your own water and snack in to park princess:
worst............drink the water from the water fountain in Disney :scared1: That was so GROSSS I repeate GROSS..Did I say GROSS

Best: I'm loving all the tips on things like Opening Families, waking Tink, and such that we didn't know about . . . we'll be trying those out this next trip.

Worst: can't say I've seen a worst so far . . . I've seen a few things that I personally disagree with but none that were outright BAD advice.

and the weather's not so bad out today, whatcha talking about? :sunny:
