Best Accommodations for Two?

Hello everyone!

We take each of our children (there are five) on a special trip when they turn ten… I'm contemplating bringing our daughter to Walt Disney World next spring for her big trip!

I love Disney… We've stayed on property once - POR - and it was nice. Our last trip we rented a townhouse at Encantada. Loved it. Easy to get to the parks, reasonably priced, TONS of space for our family of seven.

If I take her, I'd prefer to stay off property again - maybe rent a 1 BR condo or townhouse… Would prefer to be close to the Disney parks.

If I were needing to rent a big house again, I'd know right where to look (Windsor Hills, etc.) but I'm not sure where to start looking for only a 1BR place.

Can any of you help me?

If you are determined to stay off site, just google Orlando vacation homes, and a bunch of places will pop up. I just did this yesterday. If you might be debating, and it's just 2 of you, there are times of the year when value resorts on property have really good deals. The convenience and perks of staying on property are wonderful!! We stayed at POP in 2004, and we loved it. We always said if we ever went back, we would pay more to do so. Well, after 11 loooooonnng years, we are headed back in Aug. 2015. I searched places off site to compare prices, and for us, the small savings wouldn't be worth it. Good luck either way!!
