Best a la carte sit down restaurant for each park?

I am traveling with 6 grandchildren, five over the age of 9. Most are picky eaters with small appetites so I do not want to pay the buffet prices. However I do not want to spend 14 days doing counter service. I need some sit down lovely restaurants. I have already made ADR for BoG, Kona, and Sci Fi. Any other suggestions?

You'll get a wide range of suggestions on here, as it's hard to find a consensus for what restaurants are good. Here's our go to places:

EPCOT- Via Napoli (We go every trip)
AK (area)- Boma, we think it's the best buffet on property, better than many table service restaurants. It's not in the park but well worth the trip to AKL.
MK- Skipper Canteen, my wife just ate there and it was amazing.
HS- We have never done a table service here because we find that we are only there for a half day. Not a lot of table service get very good reviews on here Sci Fi seems to be the most popular.

As far as other places that we ate that we really liked:
- Le Cellier- was really good but very expensive
- O'Hana
- Ale & Compass (for breakfast)
- Kona (for breakfast)

Given the picky eater comment and based on what my 6 year old likes atmosphere wise, here are some thoughts:

Via Napoli (great to share pizza and they have "fancy" adult options)
Sanaa (amazing, unique food but they also have some basic items for the kiddos. Plus the restaurant overlooks the savannah)
SciFi (My kiddo loves to eat in the car and watch the movies)
Whispering Canyon (solid bbq and fun antics for the kiddos)
Yak n Yeti (great food and lots of choices. Get a Landry's card to get $25 off on your first visit and every year on your b-day. Can also be used to seat you without a reservation)
Raglan Road (good pub food and my daughter was enamored with the Irish dancers)
Teppan Edo ( a little pricy, but kids usually like the hibachi style show (provided they'll eat that kind of food)
Beaches and Cream (50's style burger and ice cream joint sure to please even the pickiest of palates)

The restaurant group that owns Yak n Yeti (as well as TRex and Rainforest Cafe), Landys, offers a membership card. It cost $25 to get, but you get the $25 back at your first visit and another $25 for your birthday month. You can also earn rewards and best for us you get priority seating without an ADR. For example on our last trip it was close to lunch time and started raining out of nowhere. We were close to Yak n Yeti so we went in and they were quoting people 90 minute waits. We showed our Landry's card and were seated in 10 minutes. We don't have any Landry's owned restaurants by us, but find its worth it just to have at Disney.

The Garden Grove buffet at the Swan/Dolphin is less expensive, maybe that could be a character buffet option. If you have a AAA card you'll get a discount also.

I have 3 picky eaters and they request Biergarten every trip. It’s a buffet with a little show.
Sci Fi and BOG are also favorites.
I’ve heard good things about Via Napoli but we haven’t been there.

Also Trails End is a buffet but so reasonably priced considering you get your drinks and dessert with plenty to choose from for picky eaters. THey also offer 10% off with Disney Visa. Its a yummy dinner!

It's always a challenge with picky eaters. Both my sister and I had small appetites as a kid and were picky on top of it. We were the types that barely ate breakfast, but needed a snack an hour later.

Via Napoli - as you can share the pizza and it was the cheapest meal of our last trip.
Chefs de France - the kids menu has lots of choices.
The Plaza - sandwiches, burgers, etc
Beach and Cream - if you are near Epcot area this is a good pick
The Grand Floridian Cafe - food is very good and it is generally easy to get an ADR for.

Honestly, most of the restaurants will be very accommodating if you ask nicely. Even as an adult, I am picky and have made many changes to meals with little issue. If you choose to do a buffet for characters, I would pick it based on who you want to see and not the food. Most buffets offer the same kids choices (pizza, chicken and fingers, fries, and mac and cheese). I personally prefer the breakfast buffets if you can spare the time as I find the food better and overall less chaotic.

You need to call and see if it can still be converted to a Landry's Select Club. We were contacted on ours, and able to switch it over for a certain length of time without paying for the new card. Not sure what the situation is now. It's been several years since they've honored the Landry's card.

I loved skipper canteen but it's a little problematic for picky eaters. I think the Plaza might be better, it's a great a la carte reasonably priced option with good, basic food. Also Liberty Tree Tavern at lunch has good a la carte options and a basic kid menu. But picky can mean different things to different people.

At HS you can't go wrong with either Sci Fi or 50's primetime, both basic food and great value for the money.

At Epcot depending on what your picky eaters like, people seem to like teppan edo... and also via napoli. I love Coral Reef with kids, I've always had good food there and their kid menu is good for my picky eater. We also love biergarten as mentioned above but it is a buffet (however it is one of the few buffets that is a bit more reasonable at lunch than dinner).

At AK I would agree that Yak and yeti is probably most accessible for picky eaters. But also consider Sanaa... my son LOVED the bread service there... he just ate the bread plain. You can substitute more naan for some of the more exotic breads. The kid menu was accessible to him as well. Although it's not a TS, the food is supposed to be amazing at Satul'i Canteen and they have great choices for picky eaters as well. A hot dog wrapped in a pretzel and cheese quesadilla. My child is conflicted as he doesn't know what to order here so many good sounding things to him, lol.

Wolfgang puck express at Disney Springs is a favorite of mine, technically CS but more like a TS.
