Besides the Skyliner, why would you pick Caribbean Beach over Coronado?

Too many bus stops for me, along with just being too spread out in general. The resort is pretty and the rooms are nice, but it's still my least favorite moderate.

That's fair. Thanks for your response!

Doesn't CSR have 4 bus stops and CBR have 5? (Haven't stayed at either and am trying to get to the bottom of arguments for each.)

It looks like 6 now? I think it had 8 the last time I stayed there, pre-Riviera. Even 4 is pushing it for me, but at least CSR and POR are setup where they're all in a loop (OKW and SSR drive me nuts, how the buses have to turn around all the time).

I'm surprised by the amount of hate for CBR. What specifically was it that you didn't like about CBR? Or is it that CBR isn't bad but the other resorts are just THAT much better?
I think the resort is TOO spread out, the theming is just a bland "Florida" theme (doesn't seem Caribbean to me), main feature pool area is too small for size of resort (too packed), food court is average. The walk to the central building is just LONG from some of the areas and the "quiet pool" in the section I was in was just a "square" with no theming - could have been at an chain hotel while at the pool. It just didn't very "special." So - it's not BAD - its just average/generic - the other mods are better IMO. Frankly, I'd pick an All-Star over going back there - there was nothing there that makes me want to spend the more money to go back there. Now - I do love both CSR and POFQ. (Haven't stayed at POR)

Now - if I was going to WDW to spend a ton of time at Epcot - like if I was travelling with a foodie friend during F&W and we were going to be at that park everyday - I might consider it for the Skyliner access under normal operations. But even then - it's a fair walking distance to the Skyliner from some of the rooms - so I'm not so sure about that.

Now - I haven't been there since Riviera opened - maybe that would influence me in a positive way.....
