Are there any "bad views" at VWL?
Don't really want to make a view request, but wondering if it is necessary.
TIA! :D

Most of the views at VWL are of the woods, if you are on the pool side iof the building you might have a view of the pool or a small view of Bay Lake. The only other view I can think of that people might not care for is a studio we once had on the 4th floor that overlooked the walkway to the building from WL. You looked out over the roof, to the bus stop. I kind of liked it though, you could sit out on the balcony and have alot of privacy.

If I remember correctly there is 1 room without a balcony at VWL ( they tried to give it to me in May but I can't remember the room # . So if you like sitting on your balcony like I do with my coffee don't get this room

anybody know this room #

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernesslodge. This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. (It also includes info on the dumpster view, no balcony room and some of the roof views)

The resort map can be viewed at http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernessmap

The files are in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Good luck
Sandy

P.S. If anyone has other room report info to contribute on VWL, BWV, or BCV please e-mail or PM me. Thanks

I use my cell phone a lot on vacation (gotta call the grandparents with play-by-play details of the trip!) and I could only get a call out when on the balcony. It would be a bummer not to have a balcony!

there's a view near the dumpster view.
it's some sort of small electrical station or something. Disney tried to camouflage it with some logs. but it's still very visible.

it's about halfway down the villas building on the bus stop side of the building.

i don't know if it's really a "bad" view though...

We just stayed there and had a 4th floor Woods view one bedroom room that was around the corner from the elevators.

It was a very peaceful setting. As Disneyberry said, there's some sort of infrastructure on that side but it was well concealed by a log canopy. I couldn't make out exactly what it was, and I never bothered to walk there to get a closer look.
