what other "special" princess things are there that I can do without attempting to try the breakfast with the princesses at the castle? I heard there was a princess tea somewhere? What is that all about? I would love to hear your experiences...this will be for my 4.5 yr old at the time.

Thanks!!!

My friend and her daughter did the tea, and they loved it. However, it came w/ a hefty price. It was $200. You get to have tea w/ Sleeping Beauty (at the time that's who it was), get a doll, have tea, and the cost covered one child and one adult.
Something that came to my mind that's special but doesn't cost anything is the story time w/ Belle in the garden at MK. Belle tells her story, and she chooses children from the audience to play the Chip, Mrs. Potts, etc. You could get there early and your daughter could possibly be chosen to play one of the roles in the skit. What a great memory that would make!

The best princess meal we've had is Cindy's dinner at 1900 PF. It's Cindy, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the Stepsisters. It is HILARIOUS and the food it great.

BBB is another favorite of my little princess-my only suggestion is to bring your own dress. The ones there are overprices and scratchy. We have done the Castle and Akershus as well. We've never done the tea because it's pretty pricey and my DD would rather be riding rides.

Storytime with Belle is at MK, Beauty and the Beast stage show at DHS, all the princesses are out in their countries at Epcot. Also at MK, in the Judges' tent, you can meet with the Princesses and the Fairies. That's all I'm thinking of right now.

We've done the "my Disney Princess" tea at the Grand Floridian. It was nice, and my daughter received a doll and a bracelet. They served sandwiches and cake and apple juice disguised as tea for the children. However if you are looking to spend time with the Princesses, it is not the best place to go. It lasted for a little over an hour and a half, and the only princess was Aurora. She was only there for the last half hour.

We have also done the princess lunch at Akershus, lunch at Cinderella's castle and dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Of all of these, the dinner at 1900 Park Fare was definitely the favorite of my then 4 year old daughter. In fact I told her she could choose one thing for our upcoming September trip (for her 6 birthday dinner) and the dinner at 1900 Park Fare was the winner.

There is a less expensive tea at the Garden View Lounge in the GF. They serve from 2-4:30, if my memory serves me correct. But, for the menu, you have a few choices for "tea"...I am planning on taking my little niece there in August...

AGREED! A must do! :lmao:

Breakfast at Akershus is second fav. Great interaction with Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan, Mary Poppins...
