Well, I managed to sleep almost all night with just one potty break. My friends are still hanging in, once in a while they let me know! Sheesh, they need to be gone. I had an email from DH this morning, yep from his room to mine! A link to condo listings in Boca. I have no idea what the man is thinking, Yesterday he was blowing it off, today he is back at it!

Sorry for the odd weather, we have made the national weather map out here, they don't show us anymore! Sunny and hot for months gets no coverage. Our fire season has started unfortunately, we have several bad ones burning right now. The first year we were here, one was within 10 miles of our home. No danger to us, except the smoke smell. There needs to be a meeting of the minds between the forest service and the forest savers, too much "nature" equals bad fires.

So now I am off to shower, mail my bookmark exchange, do the pool thing, and just practice being retired.

Kathy, nice to see you back. I run down of what happened was the DNS server was down so you couldn't access the boards by typing in disboards.com you could only access by typing in that IP address that is associated with it. Someone was nice and sent out e-mails to all they had them for so others knew the other way to get in.

I'm bored... anyone have something interesting to do??

Angel meet at Krispy Kreme. What a great idea. Just don't say KK around here. It might get confused with KKK. They still exist in our neck of the woods.

BTW, I received 3 more packages today from Marsha, Sandy, and Sandy. I think the mail lady is going to get suspicious of the Sun Goddess who is mentioned on the back of each package.

Glad to hear you are better Elaine and that you are not in *too* much pain Marsha - but I wish you were completely better too!

The sprinklers all look good although we certainly don't need them here... I wonder if I could find a picture of the fantastic one I had when younger:

Just got back from seeing 'Identity' with DBF. It was a very good, Hitchcock-style thriller starring John Cusack... unfortunately it really scared me LOL. I'm just scared way too easily! But I would def. recommend it, lots of good twists and turns.

Well, guess I'll leave it at that, not going to stay up much more than another 15 mins so hope to say hello to some of you before I go!
