MMMMM Carol...I may have to attend more than 1 service!! All those sound good--especially since I havent eaten dinner. I do not cook on the weekend (or if my family is lucky, not during the week either!).
Any one who has 7% up to 14% humidity is lucky. Here in Houston
we are lucky when its down to 50%! Its going to be a very hot summer here!

Okay, let me see if I can remember everything that Marsha sent me... it's all downstairs and I am upstairs I got some umbrella straws (and funny I only drink from straws so I LOVE these) where the little paper umbrella opens from the straw. I have these other straws that are cool... they are 'confetti firework' looking ones. Then I have these cool Palm Tree toothpicks with monkeys on them. A bird calling whistle to bug the kitties, a lime green & teal visor, a can cooler that says "Is that your final answer", lime green nail polish, a magnetic cat notepad, some martini shaped glasses that will be great especially for slushies, some drink stirrers and a Nora Roberts book. If I missed something I am sorry but it was full of some great stuff. I must say though that there was confetti eveyrwhere in the box and on one page it was marked with Minnie confetti so I opened the book to that page and I saw one line that said "I look... I look like Tinkerbell!" I thought that was too cool!!!!!

Gail & Lars - please try to sneak away for the August WDW trip! Would love to meet you both. I think LK's DH and my DH are going to be sick of us by the end of the trip, so we'd love it if you'd come.

I am betting by now that LK is having withdrawals from the DIS! Talk about needing a fix.

Had enough sun this afternoon to cut the back grass. DH had the nerve to come out as I was cutting the grass and lay on the trampoline! Think I am going to try the service "Rent-a-Husband"!

Elaine - I think you got it all, I hope the kitties don't mind the whistle too much. Visors are my best friends, I have 2 right now, a cheeta one from SK and a Mickey Mouse from DL. I couldn't resist the lime green one, and I think the polish is just the right fashion statement! Maybe the visor will have a trip to the world in it's future? I just couln't resist the straws and picks, especially the monkies! And the confettii, well you have to have confettii! I had no idea Minnie was in the book, that was some Magic that I had not planned on.

I may take pictures of the straws and picks, since I had to have them, too, so all the Angels will be jealous!

BTW, those are ICE CREAM glasses, not martini, although now that you have said it, a nice frozen something might look good in them!

You guys are such a riot here..... How could a group of people who have mostly never met get on so well? Another mystery of life.

Hiya,
This is goodbye for the w/e Angels! I'm off to visit family in Wales for Sat/Sun so I'll probably see you Sunday evening (afternoon for you!) so I guess I'm not really away all that long and you'll hardly miss me at all!
BTW thanks for your 'get well soons'... I'm not *as* bad today but still quite a bit headachy... ah well, some fresh, mountain air may help!

Good Morning all! Just getting ready to take my Girl Scout troop on a rainy camping weekend. Actually the weather isn't supposed to be as bad as previously predicted. Only time will tell. Keep sending the pixie dust so maybe we'll get some sun this weekend. Have a great weekend and I'll see you all when I get back.

Good morning....although it's not very pretty here - again! To top it off I woke up with the sore throat that EB had the other day. The good news is she's feeling better.

We're going to see Lizzie McGuire this afternoon with some friends then dinner after. Other than laundry we'll be plodding away on the projects. Our goal is to finish most of both by the end of Monday so we can escape to our friend's house next weekend.

Happy camping Deb...it does look a bit more promising for the weather, especially tomorrow. Have a good morning with the scouts Steph. Carol, enjoy your lazy day!

I did forget two things... first thing that had me in stitches was the Arizona Snowman 'snowglobe' I was laughing so hard with those And how cold I forget the votive holder and the two candles (limegreen... honeydew melon... a personal favorite of mine!!!!!!)

That must have been a little Disney magic there with the confetti and the page it marked. That was too cool

Well, to occupy myself this weekend I went to the bead store & decided to try expanding from just earrings........I tried bracelets today. I made them out of solid silver & Swarovski crystals...they turned out beautiful!!! I'll post pics later on....gotta go to the in-laws to celebrate DH's birthday.

Sounds like your business is expanding rapidly Laura! Did you know that the US headquarters for Swarovski is right here in RI? Each summer they have a tent sale of stuff at discounted prices.

We're just back from Lizzie McGuire. It was a cute movie and there's a surprise in the plot at the end. Unfortunately I'm not feeling that great so I'm going to crash for a while.

Laura, sounds like you are really moving into the jewelry business.

I went to the Mall and to Sears. Tried on some Lands End swimsuits and they weren't bad. First time in years that I wasn't disgusted looking at myself in a swimsuit. Also picked up something else for my exchange box. And, I saw a great t-shirt on the junior section. It had a picture of Tinkerbell with the words "Pixie Dust Day Spa." DD thought maybe extra large would fit me. Those junior things are tiny. I din't get it though.

DH and I rented 3 movies to watch over the next week. Just shopped in the "F" section. Got Fargo, Family Man, and The Full Monty.
