Marsha - DH was cruising the Weather Channel website last night and almost drooling at your forecast. Granted it's hot but you have no humidity and that's what makes the difference. I can't deal with hot and humid but I think I would be fine in AZ.

Yes Marsha, we are staying at AKL.....we were going to stay at CyM because of the great rate..but I'm too much of a spoiled brat about staying at a disney resort...plus I want to check out AKL to see if the family might like it....

Deena, good to see you here too! I love it when my 'families' cross over.

L4, what a way to start your day. I must say though that I never really get time to dry my hair before work though, so I am used to not having dry hair.

All these August trips have me wishing I could go then too to see you all! That CyM rate was one that I was going to use to get me there in the 1st week of June. Then my friend asked me to go with her so I couldn't pass that up at all!

Oh and thanks for the reminder, I ought to check the weather channel for the weather next week

It is funny to watch the weather channel, after a while, they stop showing AZ, it is always hot and not rain. But we do have humidiy, 14% yesterday and 102. But wait till the middle of August, that is when it gets 120 or so daily and 60% humidity, and severe monsoon and dust storms daily. That lasts 6 to 8 weeks, then we go back to normal. So if you want to come for the heat, do it now before it gets bad!

Deena, welcome to the chat fest. We pride ourselves in being nice. We do tease each other often, but we know each other pretty well, and if anyone does get hurt, "It's John Fault" ( we blame him for everything!) Come by anytime, you never know when we will be having a party.

Gail, Pete will be working side jobs tomorrow and Sunday. So I will be all alone.......just me and the pool, what a shame.

We will have several little Dis meets whilst I am in the world. I have PSs for dinner on a few nights, but I really want to meet SB. LK4 and Boozemom (girls only, no need to pretend). And any of the kids and DHs, although I think most of the DHs here range from Impaired to tolerant, and not much more. But if they let us indulge our WDW needs, we probably will keep them!

CS Congrats on LPP, andseeing the BF. Maybe we will see a picture of the 2 of you????

We have no plans to travel either. There is always a big music festival in Montgomery Memorial Day Weekend, but with the wee ones, it is too much trouble.

Our house went on the market today! Wish us luck for a quick buyer because I may very well be signing a contract next week for one we like nearby.

We're home all weekend. The weather is too lousy to do anything outside that's even remotely enjoyable.

Actually, we decided to stay in the city we live in and put our kids in a private school.

I had thought the goals of a bigger home or a private school were mutually exclusive , but Mrs. AlabamaAlan informed me otherwise

Oh I know... just felt like being a twit

Nope, not packed. I had my sister's wedding... my relaxation and turning into a veggie for a while after that and then I bought the new car and I had to do some stuff with that earlier this week (clear out old car, pick up new car, organize new car, get wheel locks...) so now I am free to pack and get ready this weekend. I still have some suitcases with shorts & t-shirts/tank tops packed from my last trip that never were worn (too cold to) so I am half packed. That and I have a carry on with a lot of my 'toiletries' already packed up for all trips (WDW & weekend getaways). So it won't take long anyway
