I missed a lot on here yesterday!

Welcome Gaspode to Bernie's Angels!

In the short time I've been on here, everyone is very nice and very funny!

Had a Sex and the City marathon of season 1 with my girlfriend last night. She has never seen them. Had brownies and strawberry daiquiri's! What a combination. Always nice to get out w/o the kids.

My DS has a soccer game today, and it looks like a nice day. Have to clean my deck and do some cleaning beforehand.

LK- I forgot to say happy camping today and enjoy that Brownie Stew for dinner! Yuck!

Good morning Angels

Still cold and wet and drizzly here. A Wind Chill of 39º. What is that about on May 17. It should be in the 70's.

Waiting to hear whether the weather washes out the 2 soccer games today. (Different fields, different kids, overlapping times.)

We are going to my mom's Sunday to celebrate her birthday and Mother's Day. I have a cake in the oven now.

Need to get working on my exchange box.

wow, you have such weekend plans! I am taking the van to get the side rails installed. Pete put bigger tires and wheels on it, and it's a hike to get in, so that was his BD gift from me. Then I have to go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get Magic Furniture sliders, Cosco for several items, and then wait for him to return from work so we can move the LR furniture out of the room, and rip up the carpet. Tomorrow, after the side job in the am, he will be installing the new carpet, LR only. I get to do pool maintenance. Maybe even get in the water, it broke 100 finally, so it should be getting warmer in the pool.


I have not read any HP, but have both movies. I liked the first one better than the second, but that's just me. Maybe I'll look for the books at the 1/2 price book store and see what all the fuss is about.

Morning everyone! Did everyone sleep well? Taking DD to the movies soon to see Holes. She read the book and has been chomping at the bit to see the movie. Have a great day all!

Took DS for a sport and Scout physical. Also took him for a much-needed haircut.

We saw Holes when it first came out. DD loves that book and she said the movie was a pretty good adaptation. The author did the screenplay and that always helps. I had never read the book, but I enjoyed the movie. Have fun!

Now we are back to studying for finals again. Our kids are good students, but they really appreciate someone quizzing them on the material before the final. I guess I should be happy. I'll be really smart when this is over!

that when the temperature goes to 100 or over, the numbers turn red on the weather bug! I am sitting on my couch, it is in parts in the dining room, I am watching Pete trim the edge off the new carpet so that he can add the border. I'll post a picture before we get the furniture back in, he should be done in an hour. At least one more room will be done. I have to Dis from here to keep the heathen dogs at bay, they are none too happy being confinded to the pantry room.

I did not finish my box yet, the "one last thing" has not appeared anywhere. Sigh, I will keep looking.
