Carol, I'm having some problems with our pastor, as well. It's a really long story. We may be looking at moving to the other Episcopal church in town. An old friend is taking that church later this summer. I can't help but think that I would be happier there.

My kids like to play Rollercoaster Tycoon. DS says he always puts restrooms at the exits of his rollercoasters and makes them pay to use them! He makes lots of money if they get sick after they ride. That's worse than just making them sick. He's going to be a rich business man someday, I guess.

We just got a new Subaru, so it'll be a while before we need to do the NEW car shopping thing again. We got our other car just last year. Unfortunately, DS is turning 16 next month, so we have to do the USED car shopping thing. I think that is worse. We are looking for an older car with low mileage for him. That way the blue book value will be low, but hopefully it won't have lots wrong with it.

We are still studying for finals around here. Took a break last night to go look at floor laminate and engineered wood. We are thinking we'll rip up our carpet this summer and put down new floors. This carpet has been through 2 little kids and 5 dogs (although not all at the same time). It's beyond time to replace it. Your carpet is going to be beautiful Mickeyfan.

The sun peeked out here this morning but we have clouds again.

Unfortunately, all this crappy weather hasn't resulted in any rain.

If it's gonna be cold, damp and look like it's ready to monsoon....IT SHOULD DO IT ALREADY!

I haven't been outside yet today, but it looks beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky, yet. Seems like we've had threats of severe weather every day for the last couple of weeks, so I better not brag too soon.

I'm back! We had a lot of fun "camping". I'm calling it "camping" because it was actually the kind I can handle - in a lodge, indoor plumbing, full kitchen, mattress to sleep on, etc. I'm happy to report that I've introduced a whole new generation to "Let There Be Peas On Earth" sung around a campfire. The Brownie Stew was actually pretty good, and almost all of the girls ate it. It consists of ground meat, onions, penne pasta, tomato soup and vegetable soup all mixed in together. It didn't sound that appealing when I first heard of it, but it was tasty. Of course, one of the few injuries of the day had to come under my watch. I was supervising the girls cutting up the celery, and one girl cut into her palm. Luckily, her mom is a nurse and was able to take care of it right away. I felt so bad. We had banana boats and s'mores at the campfire. Yummy!

Evening all I am back and Luis and I are owners of two new cars. Luis has the Honda Accord EX V-6 in Graphite Pearl

He knocked nearly $100/month off of his payment. His is at home and in the garage.

I go the Honda Civic Si in Nighthawk Black Pearl

I only got about $50 or so off of mine (I will know exactly tomorrow what my payout on my car is) but it will be just about $220/month so I can't complain too much

So there are the cars and both have very slight and hardly noticable hail damage but for $6000 or more off a car, I won't be complaining

For me, Lars, the fun comes in with the test drive. I love driving cars all over the place. I just think it is the best way to spend the day!
