I'll probably check in tomorrow morning but then we're off too to CT for the golf tournament. Sorry I'm missing you Sandy....both in CT and also when you meet Steph. It'll happen one of these days!!

We stay with my good friend from college who's kids are similar ages to mine. Since our DH's are gone all day on Sunday for golf we take off on Saturday and have some fun. Tomorrow we're getting pedicures.

It's great we've been able to stay friends for so long.....and we frequently tease each other that there are stories about each other that we'll take to the grave!!!

Gaspode - I hope you are feeling better soon! We finally got you back from WDW and you disappeared on us! So sorry to hear about your friends too. Having kids myself, those stories make me sad. Prayers that they will have a healthy child next time around.

Kimmar - have fun at the shore! I have to admit that I'm not much of a Yankees fan either. I think you are outnumbered.

Went to LK's today to see the Tattoo Boy in person, but alas, his Mom had already taken the tattoo off.

Gail - the trip w/ your college friend sounds great! I hear ya about taking stories from college to the grave!

Marsha - what a nice wife to be traveling around for your DH. It sounds like he will be a lot happier! I would have voted for Damon's tonight. I love that place although the onion loaf always kills my stomach later.

Sandi - it was a miracle that no one was under my tree when the branch broke. I had the tree guy out tonight to look at it, and he said the rest of the tree looks fine.

Thanks again for all the well wishes. I wish I felt "well"! Spent 8 hours in the ER last night only to learn they may have ruled out the original diagnosis. Not sure that is good or bad! I feel awful, I have no energy, I have difficulty breathing, I have both pain and numbness, and now I don't even have a diagnosis!

They did a spinal tap, CT scan, X-rays, and a miriad of other tests last night, but nothing was conclusive.

Melissa, sorry you and DBF are not feeling well. Get better soon! Also sorry to hear about your friend. That is so sad. I'll keep them in my prayers. Bet you'll pass the driving test the first try. I didn't take mine until I was getting ready to graduate from college. Guess I'm a late bloomer, but I passed with flying colors. Tell the angels when you decide to take the test. If they fail you, we'll come in our uniforms.

Glad your DH is happy about the job change, Marsha. And how sweet of you to run around for him. Hope he took you where you wanted to go last night.

Have to say that I've never been a Yankee's fan. I'm KC Royals all the way. Even the years when we don't do so well. I'm a very loyal fan.

Gail, hope you have a good visit with your old friend. I have an old college friend that I see seldom and unfortunately don't email often enough either. Somehow when we get together, it's like we saw each other yesterday! Isn't that amazing? Old friends are great. And we could tell stories about each other, too. LOL!

I'm sorry that they couldn't come up with an answer at the ER. At least you have some of those tests out of the way. Hope they come up with some answers soon. I keep checking in to see if you have posted. Know you are in my prayers!

I'm heading to the farmer's market and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Bought a sheet there that fell apart in 5 days, and it wasn't cheap. I'm hoping they'll take it back. Then I have to pack Amy for her week at camp.

DH is doing "some project" in the basement that makes me afraid to look
and I'm putting off grocery shopping until tomorrow, so I can conveniently be "OUT" while DMIL picks up the boys for their overnight trip (that I'm totally p.o.ed about....but that's a story for chat)

Just finished dinner...we bar-b-qued a white fish fillet & a couple of NY strip steaks and had a tossed salad & some redskin potatoes along with it...yummy. I'm gonna sit here & do a little Dis catch up while I sip my glass of Chardonnay.
I hope that Leah's party is a big success over at the LK home! I was thinking of Logan earlier when DH & I were at Target & a burly guy passed us in a tank top and he had a barbed wire tattoo around his bicepbig bicep I might add I started chuckling and told DH about Logan's 'necklace' LOL Then I got to wondering what that guy had been in prison for
