Good Morning Everyone~

I didn't hear from the riddleconners either, but SPB was expecting a call back later and I had to leave.

Had dinner with Sandy last night (SPB) and it was very nice. She's a wonderful person, and a whole lot of fun..the time just flew by.

We're going to pick up a huge bookcase for the kids room today, that is my only project.....oh yeah, I may start to pack for WDW. Bought new sneakers last night, might return them....not sure yet!

Off to get that first cup o joe! Have a wonderful and DRY weekend everyone!

Morning Angels who stayed at home. I have been up since 3:30. I think a pool nap is in order! I need coffee and breakfast. DH is doing a commercial job this weekend, so it's just me and the pups.

Steph, I'm telling you, those Climacools are great. Not too much break in time needed. Just think this time next week, I will be in the Orlando airport, waiting for my sister and the boys to land. Oboyoboyoboyoboy, I am, getting excited. I only have to pack my last few things, and I am ready!

Morning Remaining Angels!

Got up at 7 this morning to make brownies and rice krispie squares for a family reunion on my DH's side. It looks nice outside now, but they are calling for late afternoon showers. Bummer! We always play volleyball the whole time there. I don't mind sitting around drinking in the shelter, but w/ the kids it will be hard.

Good morning to the remaining angels.

It's raining here. Wonder if they are getting rain in Ohio? Hope they don't have a soggy day.

We are heading out to pick up Amy from camp. I only got one postcard all week and it said that she had a new, extra-good friend. Guess that means she had a great time. I'll be glad to have my brood all back under one roof.

I'll check in this afternoon when we get back home. I also have some goodies on ebay that I'm hoping to bid on, so cross your fingers for me.

Good Afternoon Stay At Home Angels (I think all the men who love them are away?!?!?)!!!

Lorraine....the Clay oops.....Idol's Concert was AWESOME!!! If it's possible I adore him even more now than I did before....I was like a big kid (surprise surprise) singing along and screaming when he came out on stage!!! The crowd definitely favored Clay, even though he (Clay) tried hard to remind us (many times) that Ruben was "the" American Idol!!! I went with 9 people I work with.....2 of who were Ruben fan's were converted by the end of the show....there's no question that Clay is by far the better performer and entertainer (but WE already KNEW that!)! He sang what will be the next release when his album comes out....and you're going to love it!!! I'm sure he'll be doing his own concert one day (maybe a CLAYANGEL convention?)....you'll definitely want to catch him "live" if you ever can!!!! Aside from Ruben and Clay, Charles, Julia, Kimberly L, Kimberly C, Rickey (Hercules) and Treynyce and Carmen performed....ALL of them showed a lot of improvement since the show (with the exception of Kimberly Caldwell, who could bearly carry her tune) so all in all a great 3 hour show!

I just got off the phone after being passed around at the RiddleLunch! I was disconnected but spoke to lots of our buddies (who sounded as though they were having a blast and YES the sun was shing on them) which was great fun! I think Gail and I were being apssed around simultaneously!!!! It was like an AIM chat....lots of people talking wondering who the heck was on the other end!!!! Lots of fun happening at the amusement park.....thanks Carol for connecting me with our crazy bunch!!!! You ARE a great buddy!!!

Val - I so wish I could have joined you for the concert. It sounded fantastic. Yea for the converters! It never hurts to convert! I would love a ClayAngel convention. We have to convert LK since she is a Reuben fan.

We're off to the picnic now - it is so hot outside, I'd rather stay in my own house.

I'm back. Thought I'd check in my the RA's.

Amy had a great week at camp. We had to catch up on all the fun. I always know if they are feeling homesick by the number of postcards that arrive. She sent me one, and it was a good indicator.

It's raining here. Bad for all of those trying to replace roofs and fences. Glad it isn't raining in Ohio. Hope they have a great day for all the fun.

I just talked to the whole Riddle con bunch!!

Elaine called me and passed the phone around. It sounds like they are having a GREAT time! They were at their lunch picnic area when they called. I guess the pool party got cut short with rain last night, but today's weather has been good. They said it was starting to get hot, so they were thinking about water rides. Sounds like a lot of them have been doing some GREAT coasters!

Hi everyone ... I'm back from my week at the lake in NH !
Those vacations sure go by quickly !

I met Steph for pizza last night ...... we had a great time ! Really fun and easy to talk to ! She gave me a pair of angel earrings and an Old Man of the Mountain keychain (may he rest in peace !)
A really nice gesture that I appreciate very much ...... now I'm just wondering how the earrings are going to look w/ the uniform

Also got to talk to lots of Riddleconners at the DIPP .... had lots of cell phone connection problems but was finally able to say hi to Lars,LK,yepod,Elaine and Dan Murphy ....sounded chaotic in the background which I'm sure meant they were having a really good time ..... hoping to maybe hook up once more with them .....

Well remaining Angels ... time to go unpack for a bit ... I'll try and check in later !

Val ... glad to hear you enjoyed the Idols .... Clay really is the Best! I saw them both on The View this week and I like his voice better and he sells a song better too !

Just got done chatting w/ Lars, Elaine, John, Carol, and Dan. I missed all their calls today when I was at the picnic and LK forgot to take my cell #! They all had a great time today, and the rain held off until around 7. Can't wait for all the pictures!

We hit the stores for a couple of hours. We had to take advantage of all the tax free sales. Amy and I got a new cell phone cases and DS got a pair of tennis shoes. He still needs black ones for marching band, but we didn't find ones he liked yet. I picked up a set of pretty flowered sheets for Amy. We also got some goodies at Old Navy. (They were having sales, but not tax free. Wonder why they didn't take part?) DH stocked up on wine. Guess we'll have to go shopping again tomorrow since we didn't finish. Darn. That was fun!

A quick hello to my fellow "RA"s!!!

Just got in a few minutes ago from my sister's block party.....it also happens to be her birthday! We had a great time and luckily the weather held out!

This is the sister (and her family) that I will be heading down to WDW with in just a couple of weeks....it was fun starting to get my nephews excited about all the new things that are in store for them since our last visit a few years ago!

Quick hello and then off we go to the beach for the week!

We saw Gypsy yesterday...Bernadette Peters is good, not great....she can't command and hold the stage in that role.....it's just too big. Enjoyed it very much, though....I was reliving my childhood.....Channel 9 Million Dollar Movie must have played Gypsy a million times when I was a kid!

Had a great dinner at a new spot called Marseilles....Mediterranean food with a definite Moroccan twist!

Welcome back to all the Riddleconners! Hope your coaster madness has been appeased til the next ride!

Morning All!

Gina - I'm going to see Gypsy on Friday of this coming week! I too was riveted to the TV any time they aired it when I was a "wee" one (actually I still enjoy when I can catch it NOW!)! Had you seen Bernadette Peter's performance of Annie Get Your Gun? I kind of felt similarly to what you described here.....she was good, but role's of that magnitude, having been already played by strong performers, make for a tough act to follow!

I just heard from Sandi. Riddlecon was breaking up, so everyone is on the road home. Hope they're all careful. I look forward to seeing some great pictures in a few hours. Somebody is bound to put some more up before long!

We are being lazy today. So far we haven't done much of anything. I think we may try to hit a few more of the sales after lunch.
