Bermuda Change in Testing Requirement

New website wording. Other pieces of the website conflict this still but this appears to be new.

Let's wait for an official email or announcement, though. The KBYG page regularly gets updated and contradicts itself.

Lot of moving targets of information, so perhaps it is normal to be confused . . .
We are leaving NYC to Bermuda on Oct 31st.
We (two adults) are both fully vaccinated - just got our bivalents this week!
We don't need to arrange any pre-cruise testing the days before the cruise?
As:
1) DCL only requires that we upload our vaccination status before we embark, no additional Safe Passages testing required.
2) for the Oct 31st sailing, Bermuda does not require a test, but we do have to upload our vaccination status and pay $40/each to get our "Bermuda Travel Authorization"

Anyone who knows, please verify?

No.

Bermuda no longer requires testing.
Bermuda still charges $40 and you still do the travel forms.
Disney is still requiring testing for cruises on the magic until November.

That might change. It has not yet changed as of my reply.

It’s possible they could change or maybe not. The oct 26 and oct 31 cruises are the only magic cruises the Bermuda change affects.

I'm not sure that this is true. The website isn't clear on this point. It says,

"All Cruise travellers arriving October 25 2022 onwards will no longer require a pre-travel test, arrival test or a day 4 test. Unvaccinated non-resident travellers will still be required to upload valid proof of travel health insurance to enter Bermuda.

Up to and including October 24, the requirements below apply to visitors arriving in Bermuda.
"

The first mention of the travel authorization is below that point. That said, you can select the 10/26 and 10/31 sailings when applying for the authorization.

I'm hoping that Disney sends out an email tomorrow or Tuesday that clarifies everything for us.

The $40 and travel form are still required. That has not been stopped. The new bolded line above addresses the tests only, not the travel form. They still want your money. If in doubt you can call them on their covid hotline 1-833-570-2594 or email them TAapprovals@gov.bm
