Watching the movie was a lot easier than reading Beowolf when I was in high school. It sort of followed the book. The actors were easily recognizable, even as "cartoons". I would say that the animation was very similar to The 300. They weren't quite cartoons and they weren't quite human. There is a lot of violence, but then, it was about a time when there was a lot of violence. The 3D effects were quite good; well intergrated into the story and not placed for the purpose of making you flinch. For those with a military id, National Amusements now offers a military discount. This movie is normally $13 at the time we went. We paid $7. Added note, Angelina Jolie makes a very pretty cartoon character.

Sounds good! I'll have to go see it. I saw 300 and thought it was great! Really gets you in the mood to work out!:thumbsup2

And the blood doesn't quite look like real blood. ;)
