We are renting points for 4 nights at the beginning of August at the BCV for a studio.
Will we get any other member benefits while we are there?
Thanks,
Lo

Technically, renters are not entitled to any member benefits. However, since your resort ID will say "DVC Member" on it, you will be able to take advantage of them. (Other than an occasional report that a renter has been denied the 10% discount for UPH tickets, I have never heard of any renter who has been unable to use the restaurant and other Member discounts). You should get a list of them at check in.

Enjoy your trip!

You may be required to show your DVC Member card at some places, so some of the discounts may not be available to you.

The room key with the words member on it will serve the same as a DVC membership card. No one will require the actually membership card in addition.

We rented points from a member in Nov. & the member told us when we checked in to make sure we told them we were guests of owner (not to mention we were renting). This way we got all the membership benefits.

We had no problems at all. Enjoy. :D
