Deb, thanks for the reviews from your trip. I'm sorry to hear you didn't care for Citricos' cheese plate. We didn't think it sounded very good last fall when we were there (that's why I didn't order it) but I'd hoped they would mix up the offerings. Obviously not.

I love that cheese plate at Chefs de France! Nothing super fancy but just nice portions of solidly tasty cheeses. :thumbsup2

Good Morning everyone, here is your daily report regarding Online ADR: As of 3 am Eastern ADRs for 12/11 are available.

I hope everyone will have a grerat weekend, I am off to the local market hall to get some cheese and french sausages... :goodvibes

Good morning! 3 a.m. it is then! Mmm, cheese. Enjoy your day!

Not a good start to my day. I fell on my stairs and rolled my ankle really bad. A trip to my doctors office which has an urgency care clinic with x-ray and mri facility. Luckily no break but I am in an air cast for a detached ligament to the top of my foot. And it will heal on its own with rest, ice and elevation. Guess I wont be back to work until Monday.

Oh that really stinks! :sad2: I hope that it heals quickly for you

So it would seem my cruise addict friendies saw the news yesterday :rolleyes1 They put a live webcast on for us (it was actually the presentation at D23,so not really just for us), and then an hour later I get an email from my boss that our Disney sales agent says we can't say anything yet. Sometimes, I just don't understand :confused3 I think I'm in the clear now to put info out, so the blog will get updated later today. Admittedly, I'm not thrilled about Alaska; I was really hoping for Hawaii (especially with DVC building out there). Now the Love Boat cruises sound great! I much prefer warm weather to cold  The Panama Canal repo will be a few days after my 40th Bday..........I think I know what I want for my birthday :dance3: :yay:

I'm asking for good thoughts, prayers, whatever you can offer. We had to put our beloved 14 yr old dog Sammie down yesterday. I thought she was having stomach problems for about a week but it worsened and it turned out she had a large mass on her kidney. The vet said she would probably deteriorate very fast so it was the only decision I could make for my sweet girl. As y'all know my boy left for college last month now my baby is gone. The house is eerily quiet. Hopefully I'll get better with time, all I keep doing is hugging her blanket. Sorry to depress everyone.:sad1:

 I'm so very sorry. I had to make the same difficult choice for my little monkey a few years ago so I do know how impossibly hard it is and how terribly empty the house seems. I'm sorry for your loss.:hug:

Oh, Kathy, that's so awful. I'm sooo sorry! Our pets have always been like part of the family, too.

Count me as another friendie that has "been there done that" :sad2:

I'm so sorry for your loss! My dog Amber was 14 when the same thing happened to her, and the memory still hurts:sad1:

Sending lot's of 's your way :flower3:

Much love to you from Jason and I both! We are pet people and though it was as you said the only thing you could do for your sweet puppy, it's never easy! Sending hugs!

Ouch! Sorry.

Hi Y'all, Thanks for all the good wishes for my niece!:goodvibes She is improving quickly, now that she is home! As she said the other day in the hospital "I'm just so tired, I haven't slept in days! I want everyone to just leave me alone!" After a good night's sleep, she was already outside playing a little & picking flowers!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Then we had the cheese plate, I couldn't get over the size of it. There was a goat cheese, very good, a brie, a gruyere, and a munster. I'd say the goat and munster where my favorites.

After seeing this cheese plate, now I understand why people say some of the other places are pretty pitiful with theirs. That's a nice quantity they give you there. The rest of you meal looked great too-especially those short ribs.

Here's is some home cooked food porn for y'all. After eating take-out & hospital food for a week it tasted soo good! I've been griping to DH that I keep coming across recipes with smoked paprika & couldn't find it anywhere. The sweet man went online & ordered some for me. Of course then I couldn't find the recipes I had been wanting to fix. So I just winged it & made up my own.

Yeah, dinner is ready!

I'm glad we ate dinner on the patio last night, because it hasn't stopped raining here today.

Great dinner! I've never used smoked paprika before. So I assume the verdict was that the smoked paprika was good stuff? You'll have to share some of those recipes with us when you find them.

Good to know. I have to make our Christmas ADR's in a few more days.

Oh no! :headache: Hope it heals quickly.

Your not depressing anyone (at least not me). Putting your pet down is a hard decision, but sounds like it was the most loving one. I had to do it with my dog Sandy over 20 years ago and it was a very tough thing. I have no doubt its even harder with your son gone at college.:hug::hug::hug: Stay strong, we're here for you.

I am so sorry, that is such a tough thing to do.:grouphug:

I'm being very wishy-washy when it comes to my AK day this trip. I think part of the reason I'm being so jumpy about my dining choices is due to my lack of days. Last year it was easier to plan my ADR's since I had 13 days and 36 credits to use, now I only have 6 days and 5 TS credits, and I thought I was doing well with my plans, but as my trip gets closer I'm getting more stressed with my choices and with AK inparticular.

I originally had Boma booked for dinner. Then I switched to Jiko, and figured I'd pay for one of my MK lunches OOP to make up the credit needed. But then I realized I would really miss Boma, so tried to switch back, but it was all full. So then I tried to book Tusker House for lunch or dinner, since I've heard it's similar to Boma, but of course that's all full too. I also looked for any avialability at Yak and Yeti, before remembering Sanaa existed, and booked that for lunch on my AK day.

So now I have lunch at Sanaa and dinner at Jiko booked, and I'm not really sure which one I want to keep, or maybe I should just keep both of them? My lunch is at noon, and my Jiko ADR is at 9:00, so it's not like I wouldn't be hungry by then.

I want to try Sanaa since it's new, and I think it would be a nice break during the day away from the park. And I do like Jiko, but it's always been at the bottom of the list out of all the signature restaurants, though I think I have it above Artist Point now.

Any suggestions on which I should keep? Or should I just keep both of them? Cost really isn't an issue, since if I do keep both, I would probably just do apps at Jiko, and I will probably have TIW.

Well, if it was me, I'd do both. I think Sanaa sounds great and just like you, I haven't been there yet. I like the idea of getting appetizers at Jiko for dinner as a way to get both meals in. I'm always for piling on more food and trying more places.:goodvibes
