I've never watched Dancing with the Stars but the news about the chairman ... or I guess the guy in America is his nephew ... cracks me up.

Jay and I watched him in a super cheesy Sci-Fi channel "disaster movie" and we are especially fond of the "kung-fu" noises that he now has on Iron Chef everytime he makes a move. It never fails to make us laugh.

They're going to be 90 day bookings this year just like everything else.

And heads up...rumors are that all CP packages are going to cost 2 credits on the dining plan this year - but will all include, besides the CP seating, an appetizer with the meal (that's a wash if you book a buffet) and preferred Illuminations viewing.

I have so many ME packets I don't know which one is for which trip.

BIG DAY today..my first dress fitting!!! I can't believe the wedding is less than 2 months out now..wow!!! Pretty scary..BUT very exciting..esp. for the honeymoon. We have a lot of good eats planned for that bad boy!

Just a little update though, my family did have to put our cat to sleep Friday.It was very very sad and i spent most of the weekend crying, but I think we are all feeling better about it now knowing we did the right thing by her...she showed a few signs of improvement but they were shortlived. she was very sick without any chance of getting better. My mom stayed with her so that gives me comfort as well. So thank you again for all your good thoughts last week..she is definitely in a better place now

I'm going to try and keep up here now since my boy is settled into his apartment in Baton Rouge. I cooked a pot of red beans & rice for them on Saturday and I asked them if they'd like a shrimp pasta dish next weekend. I figure if I can send some food up once or twice a month they'll keep inviting me. So far this plan is working like magic.

I have to file away this strategy for future reference with my own kids. Good plan!

Well, I certainly knew where to come to post that question! Interesting changes if they are more than rumor, Catherine. Makes one wonder what it will cost those of us without the DDP! And it also makes me wonder if one reason they are looking at changes are to keep the free dining people from booking it so readily.

90 days out from August 28 would be November 26. CP runs from the 27th-12/30, so I guess that date should be about right. Remains to be seen, doesn't it?

First, I'm sorry about your kitty! It's hard, I know.

But second, what an exciting day! I just loved feeling so pampered going in for a fitting, having everyone swarming around pinning this, adjusting that. It was such an enjoyable time.

How exciting.....enjoy the time leading up to the wedding....all too soon it is over. And I love that you are so excited for the honeymoon....maybe it's because I didn't plan my honeymoon (our trip was a gift from my in-laws so all I had to do was show up for the flight), but it didn't even occur to me until the day before the wedding that I was going to get to take a trip!

Boy is that the truth. Those aren't going to be fun phone calls. I feel sorry for the guests and the poor CMs who are tasked with spreading the news.
