That's just too funny! I had hoped that Jordan would spot you at the Warren Brown Demo, Elin! I would never have guessed that you two would end up sitting next to each other at the same table!

Jordan was able to sign in for the demo early. I think she picked up her card around noon and the demo was at 4:30pm.

She was first in line at 4pm... until a cranky old couple pushed past her to be 1st in line, like she wasn't even there.

Jordan only took a few pictures because she wanted to video the whole demo for me with her Cyber-shot. That's what she's doing in the picture Elin posted!

Jordan stayed afterward to get Warren & Mary to sign her menu from the demo. She got dirty looks because she didn't buy his book... but she IS a poor college kid, after all!

He is SO cute! I wish I could have been there to meet him!

I am so happy that they have a PhotoPass photographer taking pictures at the signings now! Now all they need to do is set up a PhotoPass area at PFTS!

Jordan is looking forward to meeting Keegan Gerhard on Friday!

Good Morning All,

Well, getting excited about our upcoming trip!! Looking forward to meeting some of you at Brenda's get together. It's really nice when you can put a face to a name.

We have already met so many great Dis'ers at the first F&W weekend!!

With getting excited for our trip, Marcel turned to me last night ask said he wanted me to make him a Magical Star today. He does all the ironing for me on Sundays. He's great about it, but he likes it. He gets to have his drink and also gets to watch his recorded TV shows.

Have any of you had those Magical Stars from Disney? I like them. I have the recipe if you would like.

Also, I'm hoping that the lounges bring back the Pumpkin Martinis. Looking forward to this one. Tried last year, but we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and the lounge kept running out of the ingredients so I missed it.

Michelle, thanks for sharing Jordan's pictures with us - they were great as usual. And don't Elin and Jordan look terrific? I think Warren Brown is terrific in person; I agree that on his show he's just so low-key that he can be perceived as a little dull, but I know when we attended his Sweet Sundays and met him after he was terrific - very personable and just super-nice. And still cute.

Jeanne, I'd be interested in seeing the recipe for the Magical Star. I'm still half asleep and when I first read your post I was confused ... thinking, how on earth is she going to make her hubby a Magical Star? How does one do such a thing?

Since I can't be at Disney now I'm doing my best to pretend Did the Toy Story double feature in 3D on Friday night and yesterday rented Toy Story Mania for the Wii and drank & played wii

Decided to make a cheddar cheese fondue for dinner tonight, so we picked up some Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale to make it with and some Woodchuck Draft Cider - just cuz it sounded good Ok, I really wanted Strongbow, but they don't have that at the grocery store, but the Woodchuck is pretty darn good so far

I am off to drink and play Wii for the rest of the afternoon

I actually refer to it as the Giant Eyeball because my left eye protrudes quite a bit more than the right. It's not really noticeable unless I don't have my glasses on ... it is one of the many physical quirks that combine to make me so charming.

I do like Giant Hairy Eyeball, though ...

Believe me, Michele... I am not old! I will be old at about 90!

Bob is taking a nap right now, but allowed me to take him in his chair, to Kouzzina for breakfast. We loved it. And, Brenda... the sangria is different than any I have ever had before. Very sweet, very minty. Bob loved it and he doesn't like sangria.

I dropped him back at the villas and went to the Concha y Toro wine seminar. It was very good. Small pours, but sufficient. On my way out of the shopping area, guess who I ran into? My new best friend!

My DDs accused me of stalking Warren and Mary but I explained that it was the other way around. We actually had time to talk because they sold out of his books and there was no one there for a signing. They asked me to stay and chat! We talked about their locations in the DC area and they helped me decide which one would be closer for me to get to. They also talked about an area 20 minutes north of me that they were considering that the decided against. It was an interesting 5 minutes or so. These are two very nice people!

It was sweet, no doubt about it. I normally don't like it sweet, but this somehow worked. But at $7.50 a glass... I would find someone to share with, just in case. Well... $6 with TIW.
