I have 100%, highly polished cubic zirconia "zewelery" of over-sized proportion to compensate for it not being real diamonds. The setting is flash-frozen aluminum foil. In the right weather conditions I can pick up MLB broadcasts.

I'd tip the harpist if she played Inna Gadda Da Vida.

Heck, I'd pay her outright to play it!

If it's played well it's not funny - it's awesome! We're just trying to come up with the most inappropriate songs to ask the harpist to play when we have dinner at Victoria & Albert's in a couple of weeks.

If I were going to request a real song I'd ask for La Vie En Rose ... that was the song Jay and I "danced" to at our wedding reception. We loves us some Louis Armstrong.

Hey kids! I just posted the review of our Spanish wine dinner on my blog - the link's in my siggie if you want to check it out. I think you will like it ... come see how I made a fool of myself by eating something that I never should have eaten ... read about how we were served (and ate) balls.

I'll never order them but at least I can say I've tried 'em ... they weren't bad. Honestly, if we hadn't been told in advance we would have thought they were chicken nuggets. And in the context of this conversation that just doesn't sound right at all.

Ok, that's something I haven't tried and I tried lots of different things!

Brenda..i just re-read your burger bar review from Mandalay Bay..we were planning on going there anyway, but i had not realized you tried that KOBE burger..that sounds amazing!! I am so going.
Question for Friendies: I really really want to do reports on our honeymoon..i am already planning on taking a ton of foodie pics and i don't want to not have a place for them. I was thinking of doing a trip report/food report her on the community board for the Vegas/hawaii portion..then a regular disney one on the trip report section..do you think that would be ok? do you think people would want to hear about that..i know vegas has its own section in the California and the West thread..but i don't really want to have to do 3 different reports! SUCH decisions

I still owe this thread food porn from the wedding i went too..i finally uploaded the pics so that should be up soon ( hoping on tonight!)

Congrats on the wedding .. I just wanted to say that friends just got back from Vegas. Did Burger Bar (for the 3 time) and loved it. They also said that a lot of high end places are having pre-fix meal deals that are being shown out side the restaurant itself on sandwich boards. I know almost all the places in Mandalay Bay had them. So you might be eating well for a lot cheaper then you thought!

I know almost all the places in Mandalay Bay had them. So you might be eating well for a lot cheaper then you thought!

That is great news!! The only reservation we have so far is for craftsteak on our 2nd night there ( we are only staying 3 before heading to Maui)...but i will certainly keep an eye out for deals!!!

Jon just got back from Vegas and he was pretty disappointed. Said the prices were ridiculous and service was even worse. He was at the Wynn and said he'll never go back. Not everything was bad, but he was disappointed. oh and biggest disappointment was that the restaurants were all closing at 10pm
