We spent a week in Stowe last summer and had a great time. What a wonderful area. We did the Ben and Jerry's tour. We also did the tour at the Cabot Cheese factory and at one of the maple syrup places.

Another tip while you are in that area is to head west and visit the Shelburne Museum which is just south of Burlington. It is a really unique museum made up of 37 different buildings which are all historic places that were moved to the site to be part of the museum - an old general store, a lighthouse, the steamship Ticonderoga, a blacksmith shop, etc. Really a great place for the whole family.
