Today is US. I have been soooo looking forward to this as we are all desperate to ride The Mummy. So we skip breakfast as we decide to eat in the parks. OOh But wait, there is a cinnabon on the way into US. That will do nicely. We get to US and parked in Jaws by 8.40am. We have a slow wander down to cinnabon and buy some sticky buns. I love these. Warm and runny and sticky and really cinnamonny. ENOUGH!!!!! Ok so you can tell I love these
We are ready at rope drop and collect our map and then straight onto Jimmy Neutron. Georgia loves spongebob squarepants. I also think this is one of the best simulator rides. We were going to do Shrek Next as they are next door to eachother but I could wait no longer to do The Mummy. When we get there the wait is 5 mins. Excitedly we put our bags in a locker and start our adventure. I was full of anticipation for this ride as it has been so well hyped. Well.....................It did not disappoint. This ride is awesome and my fav so far. I loved it. Did I say I loved it. Oh yeah I did. I loved it. Sorry but this ride is fab. 
I felt like I had been transported to Hamunaptra. We rode 3 more time in succession. I am running on adrenaline, get me to the next ride.. We walked past twister as this is boring by comparison. Straight past earthquake as well. I think they really need to change this now to something else following the success of King Kong to The Mummy. Jaws is shut for rehab. We head for MIB and again no queues so straight on. Have a lousy score so straight back on to try and rectify. Still bad. Oh well. John is now peckish so we head back and do Monster cafe. We have not done this before. The food was ok. I did not have anything as still full from my cinnabon. John has fired chicken, corn on the cob and potato. Alex has pizza ( getting a theme here)!!! Georgia and I just have a drink. Now refreshed we continue our ride quest. John did not do BTTF last time as he thought it was tired. He did it again and still think it needs updating. We then went over to do E.T. Like this a lot. Almost done everything we wanted to do. Did not fancy Terminator so we do Jimmy Neutron again, and then guess what..... yes..... The Mummy again. There is a 20 min line this time so just do it once more, we are back on Thursday anyway. We are now done and its only 1.50pm. We are eating at HRC tonight so no point in leaving Universal. We decide to hop over to IOA. Alex is well up for trying Hulk. Head straight to Hulk and no queue. We can't believe, it put our bags in lockers and head up the line. Alex love it and we do it 2 more times. It now starts to get really overcast and spits with rain. We pop in and do spiderman on our way to toontown. Dudleys is shut for rehab and its too wet and chilly to do popeye so we head over to do The River Adventure. On the way we stop and get a churro. Yummy. I look at River Adventure and decide that If we get wet now we will never dry off as there is no sun at all. John and the girls still want to do it so I do the sensible thing and sit this one out. Next its duelling Dragons. The wait time is posted 10mins so we start our LOOONG trek through the castle. The line is more like 30 mins but we are in line now so we wait our turn. The trouble with this line is that you have to wait for the coaster each time, so when it arrives we have chosen ICE. This one is slightly better than Fire IMHO. Its is now spitting heavy so breeze in and out of Seuss Landing doing Cat In The hat on the way.
We go to the Blue Moon for a coffee and I have my first ever funnel cake with ice cream. I am still not totally sure what this is. Bits of batter mixed together I guess. It was very nice anyhow. Its now raining cats & Dogs. John and the girls want to go on Hulk again so I do the only sensible thing and go....shopping, yes thats right!!! I get myself a pink spongebob night shirt which Georgia was very impressed with. What a cool mum!!!! Georgia gets some Spongebob pj's and Alex a pink sweater. John sadly gets nothing. Georgia also chooses her cuddly of the holiday. A spongebob. I eventually meet them from their ride on Hulk and they are soaked and their hands are filthy. I thought they were winding me up when tell me that they got stuck on Hulk, but they did. Thank god I was not on it. It had taken off too fast and stopped right at the top before it goes into its 1st corkscrew. They had to be manually removed and were given passes for another day front of line. The rain is still coming and we have to be at HRC at 7pm for PS. We run to starbucks from IAO and get absolutlely soaked. We sit here for about 40mins with a coffee hoping it will subside. No chance. Its now 6pm and there is nowhere to go. We decide to run to HRC and hope they will fit us in an hour early. Well wet is not the description for us but luckliy they do accomodate us. Have a really nice meal. We all share 2 appetisers. Potato skins and chicken quesidillas., then cajun chicken burger for john, chicken fajita's for me, chicken tenders for alex and hotdog for georgia, including soda's $71. We left a $12 tip as our server was excellent and very attentive. It was now 8pm and we had done all the rides we wanted to do in both Universal parks. Thats not bad going. So back to the hotel to re-charge our batteries ready for a day at Epcot and then park hop over to MK for 3 hours of EMH from 8-11pm.
